WMTM Update & Has Anyone Tried on the Glyde Scuba Hoodie?

Happy Friday! This isn't my normal fit review Friday because it's been raining non stop for the past month! I haven't been able to take any photos on the weekends at all. So instead I have a question for all my readers out there. Has anyone tried on the Glyde Scuba Hoodie? It's on sale for $119 and I've had my eye on it for a year or so but never got around to actually ordering it for a fit review. I'm wondering if someone could help me out to see if this jacket is petite friendly and if it's something they would recommend. I love the color and some of you know I'm a sucker for purples.

(Anyone have this or tried it on? Help a girl out!)

(I have this bra and love it. See more photos here.)

(Now that I'm in the market for more everyday bras, has anyone tried this? Reviews are mixed. Wonder if a size 4 translates to a size small. Such a bummer it can't be returned.)

(I like this also but everyone seems to complain about the straps. Next time I'm at the store I will keep an eye out for their everyday bras.)

(I tried this on and loved it. See my try on review here.)

(Looks like all their Soul Cycle items are already on sale.)

I've got 7 days left on my ban. I'm trying to hold off on making any purchases. I'm almost there! I really would love to try that Glyde Scuba Hoodie though. That boysenberry color is calling my name. This weekend it looks like Atlanta miiiiiight finally get some sun on Sunday. If it happens I'll get a photoshoot in. If not I'll head over to the store and get a try on review for you guys. What are you all interested in to see? Leave me a comment below!

  1. I have the olive glyde scuba hoodie, and I must say I love it! I'm contemplating getting another black one on the sale price.

I can't help you on the petite fit, but for your reference I am 1.67m, 50kg, and a size 4 sit just above my pelvis (I have a shortish torso for my height). I prefer cropped fit so this is doing it for me. Arm lengths are just nice too, then again I have chimpanzee arms haha. I love the fabric, and it's holding up quite well with a toddler in toll. Other delicate lulu jackets I get furries from carrying my boy.

    1. Thanks for that! Do you normally wear a size 4 in Define Jackets or any fitted top? You're definitely slimmer than I am.

  2. I haven't tried on that jacket but it looks really pretty. I'm eyeing that FTBW bra.

    1. If you get it, you won't be disappointed in the bra!

  3. I have three (black, nocturnal teal and purple). My black one is a size 2 and tends to ride up more than the others in size 4. I like the extra room as well in case I want to add an extra layer underneath...needed with these cold, wet days we have had in GA. The arms aren’t crazy long and the cropped jacket is perfect for us petite ladies.
I am 5’, 110lbs and typical go between a 2 and 4 (2s in aligns and certain tops, 4 in speed up shorts and jackets).
I don’t think you would be disappointed. It’s a very versatile jacket.

    1. Thanks! It seems like I could go either way as well? What size are you normally in a Define or Swiftly? I'm a 4 always so wonder if I should go with the 4. Sometimes in jackets I can size down to a 2 if it is roomy. I'm mostly worried if the size 2 will be too tight in the shoulders and pits.

    2. The Define and Swifty are probably the only two Lululemon staples I don’t own. I would probably wear a 4 in both only because I carry my extra weight in my midsection. The Glyde does a great job of masking that!
I tried on both sizes with a long sleeve shirt just now. The size 2 probably wouldn’t be too tight in the shoulders and armpits. The 4 adds extra room without looking too sloppy but it definitely isn’t as cropped as the size 2.
As you said, you can probably go either way and be extremely happy.

  4. Fb group ‘sweat edit reviews’ has reviews on the glyde jacket. Worth looking at if you’re still interested in the jacket.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
