Fit Review! Athleta Review Part 2! Skulptek Skinny Jean & Crop

Hope everyone had a great weekend! I can' believe it's almost the end of July. This summer is really flying by. Atlanta is so hot right now that it is hard to wear jeans in the summer. I did however find a really nice light weight crop denim from Athleta. I've worn them a few times already and they are very comfortable.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches and typically a size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms. In Athleta I'm usually a size PXS in tops and 2 Petite for bottoms.

Outfit Details:

These fit a bit more loose than the quartz wash I reviewed in my last post. The granite wash fits more like a boyfriend jean. These are relaxed fit for a more casual look. I also prefer to fold the cuffs up for a more cropped look, otherwise the length of the inseam on these is 24.5 inches. That's almost full length on me.

These are high rise, but they're not so high that it hits my belly button. I find these to sit right underneath my belly button and that's perfect for me. These are quite fitted in the hips and thigh with straight leg.

The top I'm wearing is Lululemon Sweat Times Short Sleeve tee. I'm wearing a size 2 and it runs large. The length is super long and does not look flattering on me if I leave the top untucked. It's a top I will only wear with jeans so I can tuck it in. I purchased it on WMTM on a whim and unfortunately I do not think I will buy another. The fabric is very thin and sheer.

Next up we have the Skulptek Skinny Jean in overdye wash. The one thing I need to mention is all of these skinny jeans I've ordered all fit a little differently which is very unfortunate. This pair I really did not like. The high rise was too high and went over my belly button. I didn't find this pair to be comfortable because of that.

The overdye color is very dark and I found it to be a little boring. These are also straight leg on me, not skinny. I found them to be too baggy and loose around my legs. They're also a lot longer than the quartz wash. This pair is an easy return for me. Two out of three isn't bad though. I ended up keeping the quartz wash and the crop pair in granite.

I am tempted to order the sapphire wash to see. The nice thing about the sapphire wash is it comes in a size 0P and 2P. If the 2P ends up being too big, the 0 might work. I think this might be the first time Athleta is offering 0P in their denim collection! If you're new to Athleta you can receive 20% off your first full price item with my referral link

Athleta still has their semi annual sale going on right now with an extra 20% off their sale items. It is worth checking out.

That's all for me tonight! Hope everyone has a great Monday!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
