Store visit- Speed Up Short Memoir Green & Hotty Hot Short Memoir Purple

Happy Friday everybody! I have a short review for you all. Went to the store to check out the memoir prints in both colors.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and typically wear a size 4 in Lululemon Speed Up Shorts and a size 2 in Hotty Hot Shorts.

I'm normally not a green person, but the memoir print looked interesting enough for me to at least try on. I definitely liked it, but I wasn't 100% convinced it would be something I would grab for. I think I would reconsider if I saw it on mark down.

The memoir purple looked a little more busy than the green version and for some reason looks more like paisley to me. I'm not a fan of paisley at all, so I definitely prefer the green over the purple. The other thing is I'm usually a size 2 in Hotty Hots and the store only had a size 4 for me to try on and they look a little baggy. Even if they did have a size 2, I think it would be a definite no for me still.

Overall the green memoir print is more flattering in my opinion. What do you guys think of the two prints? I also decided I need to sell some of my Speed Shorts so I can buy more Speed Up Shorts. I find the new version to be a lot more flattering on shorter legs!

Have a happy easter for those who celebrate! I'm actually off tomorrow so I'm going to get a much needed haircut. =)

  1. I definitely like the green more! It's more vibrant and happier whereas the purple looks gloom. I love reading your posts and reviews. I'm petite myself and your reviews are super helpful. (:

    1. Thank you! The Hotty Hots look a little too baggy on me from the front. The Speeds are definitely more flattering on me.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Review! Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Size Small Plus Video

You all know I love my bags, and as a Balenciaga collector, I don't often stray from the City and First style. The Rodeo (pronounced like Rodeo Drive) really caught my eye. It gives off a slouchy Hermes Kelly vibe, but way more practical to use.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Small The Rodeo can be carried a few ways. It comes with a crossbody strap that is not adjustable but it is removable. Not sure why anyone wouldn't add a few extra holes to make a strap adjustable these days. Come on Balenciaga! Do better! The top handle is a bit too long for this to work anyhow, I feel like the top handle gets in the way. It sticks out and doesn't sit well in my opinion. I wouldn't carry this bag crossbody unless it was an unforeseen emergency and I really needed my hands free. This bag looks more chic carried by the handle or crook of the arm. It also looks nice left open with the help of the flap tucked in. The Rodeo resembles the Kelly bag ...

Happy Friday! I can't believe it's almost Halloween! I actually have a dentist appointment on Halloween. One of my molars chipped and needs to be filled in. It's a tiny chip that I didn't even notice until my dentist pointed it out to me during my last visit. I'm not looking forward to it at all since I will need local anesthesia. Anyway, today I have a belt bag size comparison review for you all! For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.
