Fit Review Friday! Athleta Easy Cozy Karma Jacket Petite

Happy Friday everyone! I've come down with a cough since I got back from NYC. Sherlock is sitting next to me as I type up this blog post. It's so funny the way he reacts to noises. I was watching The Walking Dead the other day and he's sitting there watching along with me. The walkers come on and started to growl in the weird hissing noise they kind of make and his ears flew back and his eyes got a bit wide. He's just so cute.

This week I want to share my latest purchase from Athleta. I've been after something in a red burgundy color for a while and found the Easy Cozy Karma Jacket in cassis. I've been wearing it non stop ever since I bought it. The name is spot on. It's super soft and soooooo cozy.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear a size 2 in Scuba Hoodies. Here I'm wearing a size PXS and it is a relaxed fit on me.

The front and the back both have a scoop hem. I'll be the first to admit, this hoodie is not the most flattering, but it's the most comfortable hoodie I've ever bought. The inside is lined with this soft fleece, it feels like I'm being hugged by my cats. It looks a boxy in the front because of the asymmetrical zipper. When zippered up, it doesn't have a nice drape because of the thick fleece lining. I do like that the back is long enough that it covers the bum. I also really like the gold zippered details. It makes it look kind of fancy for a hoodie.

In the below picture you can see the outline of the overlap from the right side of the hoodie. Overall, I do really love this hoodie because of how soft and warm and comfortable it is. For the price $118, I give it 4 stars. I took one star off for not being flattering. If Athleta releases this in another color, say a nice blue I might consider getting it.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
