Fit Review Friday! Sleet Sprinter Jacket & Gear Up Crop

Sorry for the late post today! I've been running around for two days straight. I've got about an hour before I have to go visit my brother / wife and nephew. I would really like to take a nap right about now!

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and I'm usually a size 4 in both tops and bottoms.

Here we have the Sleet Sprinter Jacket. This looked really nice on the hanger but I had suspicions that it wouldn't be very petite friendly. I am trying on my usual size 4 and it was comfortable enough that I could see it being a very nice running jacket. Nothing was too tight and I was able to move my arms freely without any restrictions.

Side note, yes I got new glasses! I really like them. They're super affordable only $26. They're Foster Grant reading glasses that are very high quality. I took them to my eye doctor to put in new lenses with my regular prescription. They say they're for men's but I don't care, I think they look great on me.

Back to the jacket, the zipper of the jacket is a little resistant. The zipper is smooth, but I found I used a lot more effort than I normally would to zip it up and down. So, if you're looking for a quick zip, that's not going to happen. I also found the neck funnel to be very stiff when I zipped it all the way up and the zipper garage hit my throat which I didn't like. The length of the jacket definitely covers my bum completely. In fact, I thought it might be a tad too long on my petite frame. However I know I'm on the extreme end of the height spectrum, so if you're even a little taller than me the length is probably fine.

The hood is also removable.

The fitting room did not have a mirror on both sides so I couldn't get a decent back shot of the jacket but I did like the slight flare from the back. Overall, I think this would make an excellent running jacket for rainy weather since the soft-shell fabric repels rain.

I quickly tried on Wunder Under Shorts in size 6. I went up a size because of how ridiculously small they looked in a size 4, but overall I didn't find these to be very flattering on me, so I'll spare you all.

Next we have the Gear Up Crop in 17 inches. I'm wearing my usual size 4, but I found the waist to be on the smaller side, so I wouldn't say this is true to size. It pinched my waist and I found it a little too tight for my liking. However it fit perfectly every where else.

I don't like tight fitting clothes and you can see the waist looks really tight. I didn't find it comfortable to wear. I was very surprised to find the calves fit me perfectly. No baggy ankles here.

There is a mesh panel along with reflective detail on the sides.

These are high rise and these hit my belly button. The luxtreme fabric felt smooth and very compressive. The backside definitely looks awesome in these.

Back mesh detail

See how perfect these fit my calves? Amazing.

The front also has a X shaped pocket, which is interesting. Not sure how I like it. The design looks cool, but I have yet find out if it functions well as a pocket. The back of the crops also has another pocket for keys and cards. Personally I do not like compressive clothing but if you do, these may be for you.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Review! Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Size Small Plus Video

You all know I love my bags, and as a Balenciaga collector, I don't often stray from the City and First style. The Rodeo (pronounced like Rodeo Drive) really caught my eye. It gives off a slouchy Hermes Kelly vibe, but way more practical to use.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Small The Rodeo can be carried a few ways. It comes with a crossbody strap that is not adjustable but it is removable. Not sure why anyone wouldn't add a few extra holes to make a strap adjustable these days. Come on Balenciaga! Do better! The top handle is a bit too long for this to work anyhow, I feel like the top handle gets in the way. It sticks out and doesn't sit well in my opinion. I wouldn't carry this bag crossbody unless it was an unforeseen emergency and I really needed my hands free. This bag looks more chic carried by the handle or crook of the arm. It also looks nice left open with the help of the flap tucked in. The Rodeo resembles the Kelly bag ...

Happy Friday! I can't believe it's almost Halloween! I actually have a dentist appointment on Halloween. One of my molars chipped and needs to be filled in. It's a tiny chip that I didn't even notice until my dentist pointed it out to me during my last visit. I'm not looking forward to it at all since I will need local anesthesia. Anyway, today I have a belt bag size comparison review for you all! For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.
