USA / Canada Upload! October 25th 2016

Not much new products this week.  I'm safe this week.  Buuuuut, I went to the mall today and ended up liking a certain hoodie so much I ended up ordering it online.  I'll have pictures of my shopping trip up tomorrow.

(I already have this from last year, wouldn't mind another in a lighter color though)

(not sure how I feel about this, I don't hate it but not sure I like it either)

(a little plain)

    1. Shibori reminds me of the tie dye Flow Crops I bought last summer. I like it but not my favorite. Plus I'm really not a fan of hi-rise pants. The Ombre looks a little plain to me. Should have more of a color gradient. So yep, pass for me!

    2. The shibori pant is a copy of the Nux pant :(

    3. Interesting. Definitely super similar, almost near identical. But at the same time Shibori is Japanese hand dyeing technique so I wouldn't say Nux has a copyright on the print/pattern. Just unfortunate both companies chose the same colors to use.

    4. They look almost same but different. I see there's slight print gap near side seam line from nux pants. So i assume they had screen printed on the pants after sewing. Prints on shibori doesn't have any gaps on the seam. They look very nice and luxury when I saw in person. I wanted to try on but i need to wait till November. (I'm wearing a cast on my ankle so I cant try any of leggings for now...)

    5. Good eye. And the white seam doesn't really look as nice. Lulu definitely did a good job with the Shibori.

ahhh!! just noticed that the colors are the same too. very strange that LLL interpreted the shibori technique exactly the way carbon did.

    1. it is definitely eye raising. I won't be buying. Patterns/prints like these are nice at first, but I always grow bored of them quickly.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
