Fit Review Friday! Speed Short Mini Obscurred, Define Jacket Dusky Mauve & Essentials Tank!

I'm posting this a little earlier than usual.  I just couldn't wait!  Hope everyone has a great Friday!

So, I did some damage this week with the new upload.  I love the dusky mauve color.  When I saw it in the Define Jacket I had to have it!

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and normally a size 4 in tops and bottoms.

This Define Jacket is made of soft luon.  The fit seems to be a little bit and I mean just a tiny bit looser than my old ones.  The fit is perfect.  The color is what really makes this jacket a must have for me.  I don't have anything in my closet in this color.

I have to point out because I'm super short, the Define Jacket is pretty long on me.  It hits at my hip and almost can cover my bum.  The price tag is $118+tax which is kind of steep.  Which means I have to sell some of my old Define Jackets!  I think it's worth it though.

The other thing I really love this week is the new print mini obscurred black dusty mauve.  When I tried it on at the store I wasn't totally convinced, but I decided to take it home with me and try it on again to see how I felt.  I could always return it if I changed my mind.  After seeing these photos at home, I am really in love with the print.

I prefer my Speed Shorts to fit on the casual side.  I can also fit into a size 2, but I prefer the 4.  I'm just more comfortable in the looser fit.  The Swiftly Racerback I'm wearing is the new color that hasn't been uploaded to the website yet.  I am guessing it is Heathered Black Cherry according to the hang tag.  It's a super pretty purple/red.  Like a nice saturated plum.

I think I prefer this print over Dottie Tribe.  But they're both different enough that I will keep both.  This now brings my Speed Short collection to 6?  I know that's nothing to many collectors out there, but I like to keep my pieces limited to a handful.

And finally at the store I tried on the Essential Tank in the size 2.  A few weeks ago I tried the size 4 and it was much too big.  The size 2 is a much better fit, but as you can see it is still on the loose side.

While I definitely like the tank, I didn't absolutely love it especially for the price of $58.  So I left them behind at the store.  Out of all the colors I think tiger space dye is probably my favorite so far.

In other news, I went to the store today but didn't have my phone.  I tried on the new Wunder Under Hi-Rise Crop Full On Luxtreme in obscurred black print and wasn't crazy about it.  I also didn't like the fact that it was hi-rise.  It just covers my belly button way too much.  It did stretch white a little bit in the size 4.  I'm going to see if it comes out in the regular rise to see if I like it any better.

By the way, did you guys catch this on today's WMTM upload?

I wonder if this means they are planning on jacking up the price of this tee?  That's just crazy though either way.  I have a few of these tees and love them, but I bought them all on mark down.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

  1. They probably are increasing the price. I felt the same when I tried on the Deep Indigo Define. It felt softer and slightly looser but only slightly and also stretchier. I don't know if I could wear the Mauve because it looks like it would wash me out. You look good in all your try on! Thanks for the reviews!

    1. I don't know if that one is actually true, it could be just an error. But I agree I hope they don't increase prices on any other products at least until end of next year!

    1. Hi! Thanks for stopping by! I've only started collecting about 2 years ago, so I don't have quite the history in my closet. The way you guys talk about Lululemon years ago makes it all sound so dreamy.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
