Fit Review! Hotwave Tank! Yogi Everyday Tank! Quay Australia Sunnies!

Went to the mall today to see if they had any goodies for me to try on.  I grabbed the Hotwave Tank in a size 2 and 4.  The 2 was definitely too tight of a fit.  The 4 fit much better, but I felt overall it was a bit shapeless.  So I didn't love it.  I did love the color though!

Hot wave Tank in Heathered Tofino Teal Size 4

The back was also a bit too long

I much prefer the fit of the Yogi Everyday Tank so I picked up the heathered black.  They're very similar actually, but the fit on the Yogi was just slightly better.  Also the fabric on the Yogi is a bit more smooth.  The Hotwave Tank wrinkles pretty easily.

I also picked up the In Flux Crop finally in black.  Totally regretting not getting it in Inkwell!  They didn't have the Zinfandel Precision Jacket in a 6.  Boo!  But I came home and ordered another pair of Werkshop leggings in Jellyfish.  So those are on the way.  I'll post pictures when I get them.

In other shopping news, I bought 3 pairs of Quay Sunglasses.  Here are two of them!  They're fairly inexpensive.  About $50 a pop and they are super oversized but I kind of love that they make me a look a little crazy.

If you're interested in shopping for these, Nordstrom and Asos sells them. Both websites offer free shipping and free returns.

  1. Cute sunnies!! I somewhat only can wear super light glasses. I didnt get to wear hotwave tank but my sa saved free spirit tank for me. Size 6 was little baggy but i loved the coverage. Size 4 had better fit but the bra part was too small so i felt insecured. I went with size 6 and now im still not sure if I need to keep it or not. $68 for a tank is too high price for me but it is stil very cute and selling out too quickly. Argh... Well for now i will just get a sleep

  2. yeah i say if you're in-between sizes... maybe skip? $68 is a lot for a tank! I thought $58 was a lot for the Hotwave and was thankful that didn't look good on me lol.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Review! Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Size Small Plus Video

You all know I love my bags, and as a Balenciaga collector, I don't often stray from the City and First style. The Rodeo (pronounced like Rodeo Drive) really caught my eye. It gives off a slouchy Hermes Kelly vibe, but way more practical to use.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Small The Rodeo can be carried a few ways. It comes with a crossbody strap that is not adjustable but it is removable. Not sure why anyone wouldn't add a few extra holes to make a strap adjustable these days. Come on Balenciaga! Do better! The top handle is a bit too long for this to work anyhow, I feel like the top handle gets in the way. It sticks out and doesn't sit well in my opinion. I wouldn't carry this bag crossbody unless it was an unforeseen emergency and I really needed my hands free. This bag looks more chic carried by the handle or crook of the arm. It also looks nice left open with the help of the flap tucked in. The Rodeo resembles the Kelly bag ...

Anyway, today I have a belt bag size comparison review for you all! For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.
