Hong Kong Upload! February 9th 2016

Just noticed they also received some pretty long sleeve tops in boom juice.  I think I may need the Swiftly one.  Hopefully it will make its way to the US soon!

I'm loving this new texture.

I actually dig this outfit here with the pink Swiftly top!  Very cute.

  1. Visited two (yes, two!) lululemons today. Thankfully, I didn't see any boom juice swiftlies or the red grape scuba. Phew! Made it through another day. How are you doing? Easy peasy?

    1. I haven't been to any Lululemon's this week, it's been too cold to walk here. And this weekend it's supposed to go into the negatives, so I doubt I'll be able to get to the malls, but we shall see. Besides the make up, I haven't been any activewear, although today's WMTM I wanted to get the Warrior Duffle on sale for $99 but decided not to since I'd rather upgrade my suitcase instead (I was going to use it as a weekender bag). So I guess, so far not too horrible. But I did end up buying another birthday present yesterday.... so all in all this month probably won't be as frugal as I hoped it would be!

  2. I am reminded of your envious bag collection. So maybe you should dream of your ultimate bag (Kelly/Birkin) and that will help you stay focused. Even though it may be a while until you get one, it will make everything else pale in comparison.

    1. Haha, that may work for a little bit. But then in March I know I'll get distracted by so many things again. I'm already eyeing a couple of leggings that I put on my wish list. Just curious do you have a pair of align pants? If so what is your opinion?

  3. I've been tempted many times to try on the align pant. But I've resisted because I don't need it. So instead I had a friend of mine try it on. Lol. She loved it and went back to purchase. Unfortunately, she bought her size up and isn't thrilled with it now. So, I think the hype is accurate. It feels smooth and effortless, but I'd advise you to try on your true size. Hope that helps!

    1. Nice! I totally want the pair in raspberry and inkwell. When I was at the store last time they had the raspberry marked down to $69 but it was a size 2, and I'm normally a size 4 so I didn't bother to try it on, the waist looked super tiny...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
