Petite Impact

Happy Friday everyone! It's also Chinese New Year weekend for me so I'll be eating up a lot of food tonight and tomorrow. It's a good thing I'm still keeping up with my workouts while in New York. I have to squeeze in my ab workout before my husband arrives from Atlanta. Then tomorrow I doubt I'll have time to get my HIIT workout in, but we'll see. If that's the only workout I miss I'm okay with that. Since Lululemon has been waning lately I went into Athleta to try on a bunch of items that were catching my eye when I browsed their website. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear a size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms. For Athleta bottoms I am a size XS or PXS if available. Athleta tops I fit into XXS or PXS. Wow, I have not done one of these in a long time. Finally some new items hit this afternoon. I do apologize for the late post, I've been really busy with family and friends. I've been back in New York for a week already. How quickly time flies! So far, I'm still keeping up with my daily workouts. Although today, I'm supposed to do arms, but I'm still super sore from my leg day workout that I did on Monday.  I'm thinking I'll do my arm workout tomorrow and count LISS as today. For those of you who don't know, I'm following the BBG program which I'll post a review in about three more weeks. I'm staying with my parents and I actually have some workout equipment there. I'm borrowing my sister's 8 lb dumb bells and I have an 18 lb kettlebell that I left behind.  This photo was taken after leg day. Lots of core exercises. A couple of months ago Popflex released their new Dark Bloom collection. One of the pieces that caught my eye is the Queen's Coat. Pop flex Queen's Coat The price is quite affordable. The coat is $84. The smallest size is a 2 and I don't know if it's petite friendly. Often peplum styles do not work for my short torso. But this jacket looks super cute. It also looks like it's scuba material. I'm unsure if I would find the jacket comfortable to wear. There's also another peplum style hoodie that caught my eye from Carbon38 this week. This one is all gray and a little bit more my style. The Popflex looks a little too frilly for my tastes but it does look really cute.
