Another small drop from Lulu? I yawned my way through, searching for interesting items. Another disappointing drop. Which seems to be the norm nowadays. I've got my eye on a couple of new bags and a pair of boots from Since 1974. I think I'm going to pull the trigger. I can't decide between the Chestnut or Rust. Happy Friday! How is it already mid July? I've been looking for a pair of shoes that I can wear when I want to look a little more dressed up instead of wearing my usual sneakers all the time. I'm also currently obsessing over nubuck and these boat shoes from Banana Republic caught my eye. The reviews were not great, mainly because of sizing issue. Almost every review complained about how small they were. Since they are on super sale I decided to take a chance and give them a try. I stopped by Lululemon to see if they had the French Terry Cropped Full Zip for me to try-on and not only did they have it, they also had the matching shorts too! For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4/6 and XS/S in Lululemon tops and bottoms. I also wear size PXS in Athleta.  French Terry Cropped Full Zip Hoodie Downtown Tan Size XS French Terry Mid-Rise Short 3.5" Downtown Tan Size XS Hold Tight Tank (old) I'm kind of digging matching sets lately. Downtown Tan is a great neutral for summer. The French Terry feels soft to the touch, it's weighty, but it doesn't drape well. There's some stiffness to the fabric which I don't love. Maybe it would soften up over time, but for a hoodie I would prefer it to be soft from the start.  I'm wearing size XS and it does feel cropped because the waist is tight.
