Petite Impact

OMG.  These leggings are so unbelievably gorgeous, I can't decide which one to get.  This is seriously a problem.  I go back and forth between Vintage and Juliet.  Then I have to decide on the length.  Do I go full length or crops?  I would like to wear them to the gym and also out casually, but if I use them for the gym, I'm more likely to use them if they are crops.  Then my mind argues, but these look so awesome in full length tho!  Ugh!  Someone help me out! When I saw Werkshop was releasing Joggers I knew I wanted to try a pair.  Personally I wear comfy clothes around the house and sometimes I will even wear my Align Crops to lounge in.  I also have a couple of pairs of sweatpants from Victoria's Secret that I love. I debated between sizes XS and small for a while.  My initial gut said XS but then when Werkshop commented on Instagram that most people who wear size XS would most likely prefer the small, made me second guess myself.  So I ordered both to see. What do you know, the XS fits! For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches and wear a size small in Werkshop leggings and a size 4 in Lululemon bottoms. Werkshop just released some new limited edition joggers on their website.  I ordered size XS and Small to try in black and charcoal.  These are brushed on the inside and smooth on the outside.  I'm super curious about these as they are unisex.  You can check them out here .  I hope to have a review up soon! I've done so many fit reviews on Werkshop lately but I know a lot of you wanted to see pictures of how the Crane leggings would look on a petite body, so here they are. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches and usually take a size 4 in Lululemon bottoms.  I take a size small in Werkshop for a more casual fit.  These leggings are very compressive. Crane Full Length Size Small I originally purchased the Geisha full length, but they made me look short.  You can see my review of those here .  I exchanged them for Cranes.  I chose the full length over the crop because I wanted the full effect of the feathers.  The crop version cuts of some of the feathers off near the calves.   The colors are gorgeous.  They are mostly gray with a hint of blues and purples throughout.  The color scheme is beautiful.  I think the colors would look great for cold winter days and all throughout spring.  The fit on these is tight.  They are brand spanking new so the waist does give me a

Happy Friday everyone!  I'm going to be pretty much out all day Friday so I'm posting this a little early.  I was super excited to receive my Onyx leggings from their new Polygon collection.  These can be worn to the gym and transition easily to casual wear after the gym.  I love when my workout clothes can be used for double duty! For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and usually a size 4 in Lululemon bottoms.  In Werkshop I fit a size small for a more casual fit. Onyx Full Length  Size Small As with all my other Werkshop leggings, the fit is exactly the same as my other pairs in size small.  I like that Werkshop is very consistent about their sizing.  This pair in Onyx definitely lengthens my legs.  My inseam is only 26 to 27 inches so I'll take all the help I can get.  These sit right below my belly button.  Very fitted throughout.  For me the size small, offers low to mid compression.  I do not like my leggings to be too tight.  These are 100% opaque.  

The Geisha legging is my favorite from Werkshop's Zen Garden collection .  The artwork on it is beautifully done.  The colors are gorgeous.  So I was super excited to finally get them last week, but as soon as I tried them on I knew they didn't work on petite gals.  This made me really sad because the print is so amazing. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and usually a size 4 in Lululemon bottoms. Geisha Full Length One of the most challenging things about being super petite is finding clothes that does not make us look short.  If something makes my legs look loooooong, it's a keeper.  In the photo above, you can see the face of the Geisha takes up almost half of my leg lengthwise.  And it draws the eye downwards making my leg look short.  There's not much to go after the neckline of her kimono = short legs.  I also think the white band on the lower part of the legging near my shin, doesn't help either.  The next photo highlights this even more so.

I ended up returning my Purple Scales leggings in exchange for these Angler ones.  I decided while I did like the full length I wasn't totally convinced the Purple Scales was for me.  Werkshop was great throughout the return and exchange process.  The whole thing took about two weeks for me to get my Angler leggings.  It was very simple to do.  I sent them an email and they approved my exchange with a RMA number that I had to include with the Purple Scales.  Once they received the leggings they sent out the replacement Angler leggings in a couple of days. Full Length Angler I kind of enjoy scary and creepy things much to my husband's dismay.  I definitely can see myself wearing these out casually as well as for doing yoga or running.   Totally digging these sharp teeth! As for size these are a size small and I normally wear a size 4 in Lululemon bottoms.  As of right now the website has all sizes in stock.   The length of these are super long at 28.
