I've done so many fit reviews on Werkshop lately but I know a lot of you wanted to see pictures of how the Crane leggings would look on a petite body, so here they are.
For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches and usually take a size 4 in Lululemon bottoms. I take a size small in Werkshop for a more casual fit. These leggings are very compressive.

Crane Full Length Size Small
I originally purchased the Geisha full length, but they made me look short. You can see my review of those here. I exchanged them for Cranes. I chose the full length over the crop because I wanted the full effect of the feathers. The crop version cuts of some of the feathers off near the calves.
The colors are gorgeous. They are mostly gray with a hint of blues and purples throughout. The color scheme is beautiful. I think the colors would look great for cold winter days and all throughout spring. The fit on these is tight. They are brand spanking new so the waist does give me a little bit of a muffin top. It does get more comfortable after a wear or two. The length is quite long as expected, but I don't mind the bunched up look.
I found these to be 100% opaque, which I'm very happy about. I plan to do some running in these and I'll also wear these out casually.
As you can see the legs do not match. It doesn't bother me since I think it still looks good, but I do prefer one leg over the other. The one I like more is my left, so if you're looking at the below photo it would be on the right.

Werkshop also just launched their Polygon Chapter 2 yesterday with these three new prints. My favorite of the three is Flames.
They're lush 😉 so would you say to size up? I'm a 6 in lulu and small in Athleta...so I'm guessing a medium in Werkshop.

DeleteCall me crazy but I actually like that the legs don't match. If they were Striped that didn't line up maybe it would bother me but these look great on you!

ReplyDeleteIt's a hard decision to make. I already have the Jellyfish and Tentacles in crop and sometimes I think I should have gotten it in full length lol.
DeleteI have the crane crop and I love them. You do lose some pattern but the are still stunning. My gym is sometimes too warm for full length. My favorite werkshop purchase. Would love to get huck soon or the polygon ones you got. Those are super pretty and lengthening.
