Review- Gucci Marmont Bag - Is It Worth the Investment?

Two years ago I purchased this Gucci Marmont bag in the nude color. The website currently has a similar color called dusty pink. I am not 100% sure it's the exact same shade as the one I have, but I think it is. This is probably one of my favorite bag purchases that's a non Balenciaga. As some of you know, I love Balenciaga bags and hardly ever stray to other brands. This post will show how my Gucci Marmont bag has held up after two years and my overall thoughts carrying the bag.  This photo was taken when I first received her. First off I should say I have a lot of bags, probably more than one should ever own and care to admit to. The majority of my bags are Balenciaga bags. I do own a handful of Coach bags as well. For work I usually grab either a Balenciaga or Coach because they are not super flashy. Most people don't know what a Balenciaga bag looks like and everyone and their grandmother owns a Coach bag so it flies under the radar and I like th

Review EPIC Bar Turkey Almond Cranberry

Happy Friday everyone! We're halfway into June and summer is pretty much here. The days are long and here in Atlanta there's still a glimmer of sunlight at 9:30 pm. It's amazing. I've been trying to eat better, which to me means cutting out sugar. I have a sweet tooth and it's the hardest thing for me to kick. I get hungry around 11 am and around 3:30 pm. As the receptionist, there's a huge candy bowl about three feet away from me filled with Kit Kats, Snickers, peanut M&Ms and more. The kind of candy that you wanted when you went trick or treating as a child. So around that time my eye always wanders over to this giant candy bowl. Half the time I can talk my way out of grabbing something out of the bowl. But I want to be better about it!  The other day I was at Whole Foods and saw EPIC Bars were on sale. Two for $4. I decided to pick up the turkey almond cranberry bar and uncured bacon bar. Today's review is for the turkey almond cranberry

Review! Essential Tank Heathered Persian Blue & Breeze By Muscle Tank Dark Forest

I was going to post this up for Fit Review Friday, but then I had to drop everything and head over to New York. My grandma who is 95 years old isn't doing well. She spent Thursday night at the hospital and I was getting all these texts from my family about how she could no longer use her limbs. Her whole body became numb. They initially thought she had a stroke, but after a whole slew of tests it turned out to be negative. No one knows why she's can't feel any of her limbs. My grandma suspects it's all the steroid shots and acupuncture she had done a few weeks ago. I was just so worried, I wouldn't make it to see her. At 95, you just don't know when it's your time to go. It really could be at any moment. I'm very close to my grandma, she raised me from the day I was born. We're very close and she's basically my mother to me. Seeing her like this is very hard. I hope over time whatever that was done will wear off and she will regain some feeling

Review- Coach 1941 Mailbox Bag Metallic Smoke

Happy Friday everyone! I was going to head to the mall after work today to do some try ons, but I changed my mind and decided to get my workout in instead. I'll try and do some try ons soon! I have for you another Coach review. Recently I reviewed the Keith Haring Rogue 25 bag and after mulling it over for a bit, I decided to return it. I'm so glad I did! My latest handbag purchase is this gorgeous metallic smoke mailbox bag . This is another Coach 1941 design that's absolutely beautiful. Even though the color is metallic, it's a matte metallic and not shiny. I have owned some really loud metallic bags in the past and this one is very subtle. The color is a gray blue that can sometimes look green depending on the lighting. Coach Mailbox Bag Metallic Smoke As you can see this one has crystal embellishments along the top of the bag and on the strap. The strap is brown which at first I thought didn't work with the blue gray color of the bag but now I

Review! Scuba Hoodie III Heathered Bark Berry VS Scuba Hoodie IV Heathered Dusty Rose

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Just wanted to share some photos I took of my heathered bark berry Scuba III and the new Scuba IV in heathered dusty rose.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches and typically a size 4 in Lululemon tops, however in the Scuba Hoodies, I take a size 2. For all my Define Jackets I'm a size 4.  Scuba Hoodie IV Heathered Dusty Rose Size 2 In the stock photos, the color of dusty rose looks to be more on the pink side, but in person it's more of a lilac with pink undertones. I actually really like how vibrant and pretty the dusty rose is.  Scuba IV Heathered Dusty Rose vs Scuba III Heathered Bark Berry I find the Scuba Hoodie IV to be more fitted compared to the III. The Scuba IV is also thinner in weight, which is fine because I am not able to wear my Scuba III in warmer weather where as I can see myself still wearing the Scuba IV at night time during summer months or in air conditioned temperatures.  The lngth
