Coach Review! Compass 35 with Pockets in Loved Leather

If you're looking for a really great travel companion or gym bag, look no further. This Coach Compass 35 with Pockets is going to be one of my favorite bags. If you'd like to see what fits and how this bag compares to some of my other bags in my collection, check out the video below.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall.

This bag has so many options. You can carry it by the top handle, or choose between two straps that it comes with. I'm a crossbody gal so I will always choose the crossbody strap but it also comes with a shoulder strap as well.

I'm not going to sugar coat it, this is a big bag. I don't typically need a bag this large, but there are times when a bigger bag is useful. For instance, I'm already planning on bringing this bag with me on my next road trip. There are so many pockets for snacks, receipts, mints, AirPods, etc.

The crossbody strap is super comfortable and very adjustable. The fabric is soft webbing which I love.

The shoulder strap is not adjustable and it's on the thinner side but I still found it to be comfortable to use.

The color is navy/green but it definitely could pass for a faded black. Up close you can see the hints of green and navy.

Let's take a closer look at the details of the bag.

First off, the leather is absolutely amazing. This is Coach's newest version of their Loved Leather. If you weren't a fan of the Loved Leather that was used on their Empire bags, you may like this leather more. I definitely do. The leather feels slightly pebbled and fairly soft. I think this bag has a lot of potential to become very slouchy.

The back of the bag is plain and here you can really see some hints of blue/green in the leather. The hardware is silver and the zippers are all very smooth.

Bottom of the bag has four feet and there's extra reinforcement on the bottom which is always appreciated. The inside is lined with black fabric. I'm not a huge fan of fabric lining but for $495, I can't really complain. There's a large zippered pocket on one side and two smaller slip pockets on the opposite side.

Here's a look at how the navy/green compares to my black Rogue. The leather on the Compass 35 is soooo much nicer than my Rogue bag. Let me know what you think of Coach's latest version of loved leather! There is a smaller version in size 25, but it doesn't quite have the same vibe. I much prefer the look of the 35. That's it for me, I hope you all have a marvelous Monday!

  1. What a nice bag! I can see how it would be practical for road trips, as you said. At this time in my life, I don’t have a need for a large bag though.

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...
