New Releases Week of September 29th 2026

The Moonlight Floral print is taking me back to the good old days! 😍 Banana Republic and Athleta are still having their Friends & Family event. Also excited for Fount's new sling bag coming out this Friday! I'm considering going on a shopping ban for the month of October. Anyone want to join me? This way we'll be ready for holiday shopping sales. 😆

(This reminds me of old Lulu days!)

(Quickly Googled who Geoff is and he's an artist who is known for 1980's skate culture and highly stylized art. Interesting collab.)

(I bought one in cream and black and now I want the gray!)

(Love this truffle gray color)

(So pretty! 😍)

10/2 Release!

(I'm actually excited for this release. It's a sling but looks like a backpack. I also heard they may sell a kit to turn this into a more traditional backpack with two straps!)

  1. What an interesting sling! I find mini backpacks so cute but have never reached for them in my day to day, maybe in winter when we are all bundled up I will try again

    1. I wouldn't mind giving a mini backpack a try. I really like the idea of the sling though. It's on my wish list!

  2. I really don't get the collab. The choices have been very strange and of course do not sell well. I remember the Soul Cycle, Barry's, and Principal Dancer collabs. Those made a lot more sense than the recent ones...like Disney?? I know I say it just about every week, but the new CEO has a lot of work to do to get the ship turned.

Usually I don't go for prints, but the repeated colors are just so boring and predictable that I don't hate it and would like to see more.

I don't think I can manage a total ban in October, but I'll join you in continuing with my low-buy!

    1. Hi LZ! I loved the Principal Dancer collabs, those were great. They had some really nice coats that I wanted to bad, but I knew they would never fit me, too long in length.

I am hoping for a ban for the full month, but we'll see if I can do it. I'm going to try!

  3. I saw the print in person last night, and it’s backed in white. :( I guess we shouldn’t be surprised!

    1. Hi LZ! Ack, that is disappointing. Why do they do that?!

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...
