Review Coach Rogue 31 in Suede

As I look forward to fall (I am trying to manifest cooler weather), I'm currently looking to add a suede bag to my collection. I already have a Coach Rogue from 2018 in burgundy suede but I would love to add a brown suede bag to my fall rotation. If you're curious, I also filmed a video comparing the two bags.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and this bag looks amazing no matter how you carry it. I usually prefer to carry my bags by the top handle or crossbody, but for the Rogue I think top handle looks best. Especially in suede.

The bag comes with additional straps to carry as a shoulder bag or crossbody. I do think it looks nice as a shoulder bag but I would worry about the handles causing imprints on the suede. You can tuck them into the pockets, but it could still leave imprints.

This is a medium size bag and doesn't overwhelm my petite frame.

The crossbody strap is fairly wide  and comfortable to carry as a crossbody bag. The length is adjustable. I have it on the shortest setting.

Let's take a closer look at the bag.

The updated design does have some notable differences. Coach brought back the lock and key/clochette which I am thrilled about. Previously this was only available on the first generation Rogue. The suede isn't as nice as I expected. This bag is brand new out of the box and you can see the suede already looks a little fuzzy. Over time with use, I think it would become even more fuzzy.

I love that they added the lock back to the updated design.

The handle drop is 3.75".

The bag comes with two hangtags all in suede and the clochette/lock combo.

I love that they added magnetic closures. You can style this bag in different ways depending on which magnets you use. (This is demonstrated in the video.)

Another updated feature is an added slip pocket within the outer pocket.
This is only on one side.

The pull tabs are also made in suede. I can see this being a major point of wear over time. I love the leather that lines the outer pockets. It feels absolutely luxurious and I wish Coach would use this kind of leather on a bag.

Inside lining is cotton.

Overall, I love the updates they made, however I wish they used better suede. It does feel soft, but I am not a fan of the fuzzies, especially on a brand new bag. It already looks a bit used. Price is $795, which I think is a very good price for this bag. I ended up returning it because I still preferred my burgundy suede Rogue. That's it for me and I hope you all have a wonderful start to a brand new week!

  1. Love that bag on you! It doesn’t look too big even though it’s a big bag. I’m so excited. I finally picked up the lulu waffle full zip scuba in porcelain pink. I can’t wait for wmtm anymore. Kicking myself for not getting mink berry when it got marked down. I wasn’t thrilled about the price but it’s gonna be my bday gift to myself. I’m getting used to the long sleeves trend as it seems to be long even on the 5’9 models. Anyway porcelain pink looks a bit purple in the waffle fabric. Still deciding on whether or not to keep it. Cindy.

    1. Hi Cindy! I love the Waffle Scuba. I have it in the gray and beige? I cannot remember the names anymore. But I wear them all the time and the sleeves don't bother me since you can push them up. I debated the pink too, but I think I am happy with the ones I have! Enjoy and Happy Birthday!

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...
