Fit Review Friday! Vuori Vintage Oversized Denim Jacket, Sedona Retro Short and Villa Short

Happy Friday! This is the part two of the Vuori store try-on session. I grabbed the denim jacket for fun and two pairs of shorts that I thought would be great for summer.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size XS in Vuori. I also wear size PXS in Athleta and size 4/6, XS/S in Lululemon.

I'm wearing size XS and this denim jacket is very oversized. I feel like I'm wearing my brother's jacket from the 80s. I did like the vintage wash and the denim itself feels substantial. It's on the heavier side of medium weight. The quality seems really nice. I think there's a slight chance I would have liked it more in size XXS, maybe?

The back of the jacket is so unflattering, but sort of looks cute from the side. Price is $188 which is about what I expected from Vuori these days. My face below says it all! 😆

Next up we have the Sedona Retro Short. I really love how soft the fabric is. I'm wearing size XS and find this to be true to size.

This is a super soft, lounge-y type of short. I would even wear it to sleep except it's $74! 😳 There's honestly nothing really special about these shorts. The design is pretty basic and they're made out of French terry. If it wasn't for the fact that it's super soft and super comfortable, I would never give it a second look.

The most I would pay for something like this would be $58 and then I would probably wait for it to be on sale. 😜 That said, if I had unlimited funds, I would buy it.

Last we have the Villa Short. I'm wearing size XS and it fits true to size. I'm not loving the super thick ruched waistband. I feel like it's a little over the top.

The fabric is super thin and lightweight. Reminds me of Lululemon's Swift fabric. The inseam measures 3 inches long. It has a relaxed fit and roomy throughout the hip and thighs.

I didn't find these to be very flattering, I think these would look better on someone with longer legs. They remind me of boxing shorts. Retail price is also $74. I guess this is the new normal for shorts these days. I left Vuori with nothing! I had a lot of fun trying on a bunch of items. That's it for me, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...
