New Releases Week of February 3rd 2026

Ahhhh another week, and finally a drop with some new designs but the prices have gone up so much that I'm just going to be extremely picky about what I buy these days. Now that my No-Buy month is officially over, my first purchase was not Lululemon, but from Banana Republic! 😳 I still have Twig on my brain, but I'm trying to patiently wait for it to go on sale. It's already February and spring is right around the corner for us who live in the south (I hope anyway, this winter has been really unusually cold) and I would probably get more use out of the AEJ, but part of me really wants the soft Wunder Puff vest! I could order both and just return one, but I am also afraid I might want to keep both which is a high possibility. I hate when I have to make decisions! So I am going to leave both in my cart, for now. If you were on the No-Buy challenge with me, have you bought anything yet?

(Love the color, but also very I Dream Of Jeannie)

(At 26" in length, these are petite friendly.)

(Andrea, your favorite jacket has evolved, haha, do you want to weigh in? I think it's not as flattering. And Wacky Khaki? SMH.)

(I can see myself wearing this to the office, but I can't see myself paying $148 for it though.)

(Why does this have to be so cropped!)

(Such a pretty combo, I am a sucker for Rose Gold)

(I don't usually like green, but this is really pretty.)

  1. I’m actually tempted to give the Effortless Jacket Evolve a try, Leslie! :D I like the adjustable cuffs, the slightly longer body length (had to size up in the AEJ which was a tad too cropped for my liking) and the simple design in the front. I’ll pull the trigger if a nice color comes out (Ashen Rose please!) but will have a hard time figuring which size to order.

    1. Hi Andrea! I think you could probably wear XXXS to be honest. It looks like it runs big to me. None of the offered colors look very appealing. Ashen Rose would be nice!

    2. I agree with Andrea. I used to buy the AEJ in size 2, but prefer the length of size 4. Ashen rose looks very pretty! If the City to trail jacket wasn't so expensive, I'd be tempted.

  2. I love Burgundy Bay. It looks like nice saturated jewel tone. I'm not sure what I'd want or wear in it yet, but I agree that the rose gold zipper is combo on that define is a chef's kiss. I really like the valentine leggings. The polka dots with an occasional heart is very cute. I haven't tried the no line leggings, but I plan to give them a try. Just deciding on the color.

I have made a handful of purchases this week, a dress that I needed for a enchanted themed event, a blouse for a second event (with a fiesta theme, that was a tough one) and a pair of shoes. I'm trying to be much more mindful though. Do I really need it? (Probably not) Do I already have something similar? (Usually, yes lol) Am I just buying for the rush? For avoiding the rush, I've been making things sit in my cart and thinking it over before purchasing. Most of the time, I delete it out or decide to wait to see if it goes on sale.

    1. Hi Stacy! I love Burgundy Bay too with the rose gold but I don't wear Define Jackets anymore. I would do it in a hoodie though.

I'm doing the same thing- no more impulse purchases for me. I add it to my cart and close out the window and try to forget about it. if I keep thinking about it even after a week or more, then maybe I pull the trigger. Or wait until it goes on sale.

  3. I love Rulu bottoms, but why is "genie" the only style we get in forever??

You would probably get more use of the AEJ, but I do love the WP Vest. That's a tough choice!

I did pretty well on my low-buy January and am trying to continue it as long as possible. I'm tempted by the Candy Cloud Swiftly LS Crop, but I know I would get more use out of the SS version. It's quickly selling out, but I'm trying not to get FOMO and just wait to see if the SS releases.

    1. Hi LZ! Hah, is that style even popular? I have no idea anymore. I wouldn't be surprised if it hit WMTM.

Yeah I am still town between the AEJ and the WP vest. Sigh.

Keep it up! I am also trying to delay my purchases as long as possible. The FOMO is getting to me less and less. If you can sit and wait for a week or two and let it simmer if you really want it or need it that badly.

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...
