Coach Bleeker Bucket Bag in Shearling!

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. If you scored an amazing deal on Black Friday sales, I want to know what you got! I actually bought a treadmill and I'm really excited to get it, especially since I am now working from home two days a week. I noticed that on the days I'm working from home, my steps are drastically less than usual.

In other news, it's freezing cold in Atlanta and I have been loving my new Coach Bleeker bucket bag in shearling. It's the perfect bag for frigid weather.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall.

Watch my video to see what fits!

This bag is very versatile. You can carry this bag a few different ways. While the strap isn't removable, it is adjustable and can be carried over the shoulder as a hobo or crossbody. I am most definitely a crossbody gal, and even at my height, the strap isn't too long at all. I have it on the second to shortest setting.

I added my old Coach Thumper charm. 😍

Here I am modeling the bag with the strap adjusted to the shortest setting. I think it looks fantastic worn as a shoulder bag. The drape of the sheepskin is fantastic. It's very soft and pliable. The only thing I didn't like is how long the strap hangs. However, this is because I'm so short and have it on the shortest setting.

Let's take a closer look at the bag.

The sheepskin is soft and thick, but still surprisingly lightweight. The feel of the sheepskin is a little dry. i wonder if I can use some conditioner to help with the dryness. The shearling is very soft and cozy.

The hardware is brass.

Outline of the inside pocket and snap closure can be seen on the back of the bag.

There's no feet on the bottom of the bag, but I think that's okay since this is mainly a crossbody/hobo style. I noticed there is a 1941 stamp, which signals this is part of their reserve collection.

Inside ring to attach the pochette.

Inside of the bag is shearling, which I absolutely love. Probably not the easiest to clean, but I love the soft fuzziness. There's an inside slip pocket with a snap closure.

Some may not like that this bag does not have a zip closure. Coach chose a dog leash clip closure, which to be honest can be a little fiddly. So far when I carry this bag, I have tried using the dog leash clip closure and leaving it open. The bag does hug your body so I wasn't too worried about leaving it unclipped, but obviously do what makes you more comfortable.

I love that this bag comes with a lovely pouch! It's makes nice addition to any bag.

I typically do not like seasonable bags, but this one just stole my heart when I saw it in Orlando. It's the combination of the slouchy look, shearling trim and the classic leather that reminds me of shearling bomber jackets. I love that it matches my leather jacket with the shearling collar! I have a review of the jacket coming soon. The price for the Bleeker Bucket bag in shearling is $595, which I think is absolutely worth the money. I wouldn't even be exaggerating by saying this bag is a steal. Coach always comes out with amazing designs, using quality materials and their craftsmanship is always top notch. They seriously compete with high end luxury brands for a fraction of the price. If Balenciaga were to release a bag like this, they would charge $3000. As someone who has been collecting bags for 22 years and I've reviewed anything from Lululemon to Hermes, Coach has really stepped up their game in the last 10 years and I'm really impressed with their offerings lately.

That is it for me, I hope you enjoyed this review and if you have any questions let me know in the comments!

  1. I’ll never get over how nice your jacket looks. It’s the best feeling when a jacket like that just works perfectly for you, like a leather jacket or a trench. I like how it has structure but is not football player looking.

    1. Hi AC! Thank you so much! I'm obsessed with the leather jacket. It's literally perfect. I don't think there's anything that I don't love about it.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
