Review! Peter Nitz Libby Tote Geneva Calf Size Medium Black Cherry

This is an early Christmas present from Jared! This was a color that was only available for purchase for 24 hours only. Black Cherry is a limited edition color that Peter Nitz only released for those who watched his live stream on Instagram back in July. So I have had this bag for a little while now. 😅 I'm not one of those people that can wait until Christmas to open up a gift. As I already have one of these totes in a smaller size and different leather, I knew I would love this one.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall.

Please check out my video to see what fits!

This tote can be carried by the handle, which is surprisingly comfortable and on the shoulder or crossbody. I love a bag that can be worn multiple ways. I attached a cute Hèrmes bag charm that I bought from TheRealReal. I really think it's the perfect bag charm!

The shoulder strap is surprisingly comfortable. It's about one inch wide and very adjustable. I'm still playing with the length to see which works best for me. The bag is filled with stuffing for these photos but when I carry my regular everyday things it molds against my body. If you do pack the bag completely full, this is what it would look like. My Youtube video has more mod shots towards the end if you're interested in seeing more.

Let's take a look at the details.

This is a very minimalistic design. The only logo is a small foil stamp underneath the handles that reads "Peter Nitz Zurich". There's almost zero hardware. The only hardware on the bag are the D rings at the sides of the bag where the crossbody strap attaches.

This is made from full grain premium leather. It has a matte finish which feels a little dry to the touch. This matte finish prevents scratches and the leather should stay looking like new for a long time. I've worn it about five times and it still looks brand new. It's a very durable leather.

Made in Romania

The inside of the bag is unlined. I like that the bottom of the bag is leather instead of suede because it makes it easier to clean. The base of the bag is firm to prevent the bag from sagging. Overall this is a really nice, thought out design.

One thing that I kind of wish the bag had, is feet. I'm sure it was considered, but for whatever reason it didn't make the cut. I know if hardware was added for feet, it would look a little out of place for this kind of bag, but I would have loved for a piece of leather on the sides as feet, similar to my Joseph Duclos bag. Something like this, would have been nice.

No feet 😕

I really love this bag and Black Cherry is a very saturated, deep burgundy. In some lighting it looks more red, sometimes it can look brown. Either way, this is a great fall bag/winter bag. That's it for me! I Hope you have a wonderful week! I can't believe it's the last week of October. The holidays are officially starting!

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
