Review! Allbirds Tree Dasher 2 - Utility and 15% off your purchase!

It's been SO long since I posted an Allbirds review. I'm a huge fan of their Tree Dashers and when the Tree Dasher Utility version came out, I had to give it a try. I got these last month in case anyone was wondering and have been testing them out for this review!

I've partnered up with Allbirds! Super excited to share my personal linkClick on my link for a 15% off.

For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds, however for Tree Dasher 2 - I needed to size up to a 6.

I love the look of these in the Natural White/Rustic Brown colorway. I'm still very much into neutrals these days. This color combination would work with any outfit.

I really wanted to give these a try because of the updated tread. However, after wearing them in a light drizzle, I still would not recommend these for rainy conditions, which is disappointing. I was hoping the bottom would be grippier, but best to use in dry conditions.

As for sizing, I would recommend going up half a size. I normally wear size 5.5 in Allbirds and my usual size felt just a little too short and too narrow. Sizing up to a 6 fit much better, especially with my thick socks.

I've spent some time walking around in these and they feel very cushiony. I would consider these a casual walking shoe. I think they're fine for everyday walking up to 10,000 steps a day. For anything more serious than that, I would stick to my On Cloudmoster Void or Lululemon Beyondfeel Running shoes.

I'm also interested in trying a pair of Allbirds Wool Strider shoes for the winter. They look really sleek and cozy. Let me know if you have a pair of these! That's it for me, hope you all have a wonderful start to a brand new week!

I just wanted to share a new video up on my channel. It's a vintage Coach tote in Alligator! It's also listed for sale on Ebay. I'm selling this bag for Jared's uncle's wife. I really wasn't sure what to price the bag at as  there wasn't much information for me to go on. I figured I would go high and accept offers. 😅

  1. I am a huge fan of Allbirds and own over a dozen pairs of their shoes (thanks to you, Leslie :D ). However, I have lost my interest in their new releases cos Canadians are getting very limited options on colors. Look at the colorways offered for Women's Wool Cruiser on

    The US site
    https://www.allbirds.com/products/womens-wool-cruiser-burgundy

    vs the Canadian site
    https://allbirds.ca/products/womens-wool-cruiser-nz-light-blue-natural-white-sole

I was so looking forward to seeing Rugged Purple on the Canadian site (spring or last fall?) but all we got was Rugged Beige.

I'm happy with my Allbirds collection and probably won't be spending money on them unless a gorgeous color shows up.

    1. Hi Andrea! Hah, I'm glad you have a nice collection of Allbirds, makes me feel not so bad about mine! I actually have not gotten a new pair of Allbirds this year until the Tree Dasher Utility came out. But now I am curious about the Wool Strider and the regular Strider.

I also cannot believe you only have 4 colors to choose from the Wool Cruiser! That is so crazy, since the US has nearly 20 colors available. 😐

I'm also not a fan of the new website redesign. It's a little clunky with the photos. It's not as easy to navigate.

  2. I completely agree with Andrea - the Canadian site has gotten very disappointing. They are definitely carrying less stock than the US site. My size seems to be gone in most of the styles now.

I actually haven't looked at the site in months. I just looked today to check out the Strider, after you mentioned it. It's available in two colors on the Canadian website, and seven on the US site. The Wool Strider isn't even on the Canadian site. Boo.

Come to think of it, the Strider looks a lot like Lulu's CrossCity Sneaker. I'd probably go with the Lulu shoe, since my size tends to stick around for a while, and I like the colors it's offered in better.

    1. Hi Lola! So disappointed for you guys! Don't know why there's such a huge difference between the two sites. I am hoping to try the Strider, it looks pretty cute. It does look a little like the CrossCity Sneaker. If you give that a try let me know how you like it!

    2. If the Faint Mauve CrossCity Sneakers go on markdown, I'm going to grab them. I've been watching them for a long time. If you get the Striders, I'd love to hear the review!

    3. That was the color I was eyeing in the CrossCity sneakers! I am trying to decide between the wool or non wool Striders. Help me choose!

    4. Both the wool and non wool are cute, but I personally prefer the non wool, as they look a little more sporty. I think the wool looks a bit more casual, but they would be more appropriate for fall. Are you eyeing Rugged Beige?

    5. Rugged Beige for non wool. For the wool I kinda like the Dark Gray. Wool would probably stay cleaner if it were darker. I hate when they give too many options that I like! haha

  3. Hi Leslie! What kind of socks do you wear? I’ve been wearing Balega or old-style lululemon for years, but I’m ready to branch out.
By the way, I’m the one who won the lululemon gift card from you years ago. ❤️ Later, I realized we have the same birthday, though I’m way older.

    1. Hi Kateryna! Amazing! Happy you're still hanging around my blog. ❤️ That means so much to me. And so cool we have the same birthday!

I almost always wear Bombas ankle socks. These are my favorites.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
