Fit Review! Lululemon Loungeful Relaxed Fit Full Zip Cropped Hoodie and Scuba Cropped Funnel Neck Half Zip Waffle

I can't believe there's just one more day left in September! 😳 For a no-buy month, it sure flew by fast. So far, so good. I do have my eye on a few things on my fall wish list. A couple of items are Lululemon pieces. I went to the store over the weekend to see if they had any new hoodies for me to try.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4/6 and XS/S in Lululemon.

The Loungeful Relaxed Fit Full Zip Cropped Hoodie is sooooo soft. It is fleecy and cozy. I sized up to a small because I wanted a longer length since it is cropped. As you can tell from the photos, it's still a little too cropped for my tastes.

It's a cute piece but I would have preferred the length of the hoodie to hit a little lower on my hips. I think Palm Deco can pass for a neutral. It almost reminds me of Gray Sage which I also loved. If you love cropped hoodies, you'll love this one too. It's very cozy and it looks great left open or zipped up.

Next up we have the Scuba Cropped Funnel Neck Half Zip in Waffle. I have the full zip hoodie in this color and love it. I wanted to see if I would also love the half zip version.

I'm wearing size XS and the fit is true to size. The length is also a little too cropped for my tastes. I think size small would have also worked, but the sleeves would be even longer. There is a sleeve length photo coming up. 😂

This actually has side pockets! That may explain the higher price tag of $138. For an extra $10 more I prefer the full zip hoodie. This hits at high hip and the elastic around the hem is comfortable.

The sleeve length is always so comical on me. I left both pieces at the store. That's it for me! Hope you all have a wonderful start to a brand new week!

I was asked to sell this stunning vintage Coach bag for my husband's uncle's wife. It is a limited edition Coach bag in ostrich that is still brand new from 2006! 😳 It you're interested in taking a look here's the listing. If you have ten minutes to spare, you can also watch the video.

  1. The sleeve length of the Funnel Neck Half Zip nearly doubles the body length LOL! While I love how soft the waffle fabric is, I’m just not a fan of cropped tops. I also find the fabric a tad thin and for me it’s not worth the price.

I tried on the Daydrift High Rise Straight Leg Trouser and had to struggle to get the pants over my hips (I don’t even have wide hips)! Once they are on, the fit is flattering but I don’t want to risk hurting my wrist putting on and taking off a pair of pants!

I took advantage of the Athleta sale and ordered a pair of Venice High Rise Wide Leg Pant. I hope it fits as nice as the LLL Daydrift Trouser.

    1. Hi Andrea! I have not tried on the Daydrift HR Trouser. The length is just too long for petites. Let me know if the Athleta version is similar when you get it!

I haven't been looking at Athleta as much lately. I did step into the store over the weekend and tried on a few items. Lots of fleece items dropped!

    2. I absolutely love how the Athleta Venice High Rise Wide Leg Pants (petite) fit, Leslie! The waist is stretchy enough so I had zero problem pulling the pants over my hips. The fabric drapes nicely and you can dress the pants up or down. Even the length is perfect on me! The legs are not as wide as LLL’s Daydrift High Rise Wide Leg Trousers which make them more flattering on my petite frame.

      Very happy with my purchase!

    3. I'm so jealous the pant length works for you!! Lucky. I wish they would release these in a cropped length. Which color did you go for?

    4. I got it in plain black (no contrast stripes along the side seam). :)

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
