Review! Peter Nitz Small Libby Tote in Arosa Calf

I can't believe it's been one year since my grandma passed away. I still miss her so much. 💔 I really debated on not posting today. Some days it just hits me hard; grief really does come in waves. My grandma was always super supportive of all my hobbies. I loved sharing with her everything I was up to. I majored in photography and she put up with my camera always in her face. She even loved my Blythe dolls when I was obsessed with them. I miss sharing things with her. She would ask how my blog was doing. I would have loved to have her in my recent Youtube videos. She had the best smile.

She would have loved hearing about my newest bag. It's hard not being in New York. The rest of my family are visiting her grave today. I wish I was there for it. I will be heading back when the headstone is ready. My mom tells me it should be soon.

If you've made it this far, thanks for reading. With a big sigh, I'm ready to share this Peter Nitz bag with you all. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. Please check out the video to see what fits.

If you've never heard of Peter Nitz, it's because he's known for his bespoke bags, similar to Mila.Jito. He caters mainly to Hermès clients with his master craftsmanship in saddle stitching. His bespoke bags start at $8,000 USD and the wait list is nine months out. I would love to be able to get my hands on a Dream bag one day. They are absolutely gorgeous bags, it's as if Celine's Luggage Bag and Hermès Birkin had a baby. If you know of Tanner Leatherstein on YouTube, he took a five day immersive course with Peter Nitz and made a Dream bag. You can check it out on Peter's website. Until I win the lotto, I'll have to settle for Peter's Ready-to-Wear line (RTW). The Libby Tote is Peter's first handbag design that is made by his team in Romania.

If you're looking for a petite bag, the small size is fantastic. The strap is adjustable and very petite friendly. I have it on the third shortest setting. I've mainly carried this bag as a crossbody and the strap is super comfortable. While it looks to be on the thicker side, it measures one inch in width. Most designers would have went with a thinner strap and while it would look in proportion to the bag, it's not as comfortable on the shoulder. Thinner straps tend to dig in. I'm definitely a fan of comfort over looks these days! So I appreciate the wide strap.

This is such a cute little tote when carried by the top handle. One of my co workers walked by and said it looked "dainty" which gave me a chuckle. It may be small, but it actually fits a decent amount of things!

I love how shiny the leather looks, it's so smooth and buttery.

This bag can easily be dressed up or down. The color Cognac is the perfect brown. I am obsessed with this shade of chestnut brown. It's such a great neutral and goes with anything.

Let's take a closer look at the bag.

(The photo above shows the bag in its brand new state.)

This photo was taken after seven wears.
Note -the lighting wasn't as good, so the color is a little off.

This is Arosa Calf leather, which is similar to Hermès Barenia leather. It's smooth and buttery. It will patina and show scratches. The handles are outlined with white contrast stitching. The shape of the handles are inspired by the cutout of his Dream bag. Since I've referenced the Dream bag so much, here is a photo. How beautiful is this?!

The Libby Tote is the epitome of quiet luxury. It's very much the case of If You Know, You know. I bet you're all wondering how much this bag costs. The price is based on Swiss Franc currency so it changes everyday. At the moment of this blog post, it is priced at $1,823 USD. As the dollar weakens, the price of this bag will go up. Just for some background, when this bag was launched back in March 2025, the price was $1,640 USD. Earlier this month, I placed an order using a 10% coupon and was able to purchase it around $1,643 USD. I know what the next question you're all thinking. Were there any extra custom fees or tariff fees? As of today I have not received a bill, but I hear that it can take months for the custom invoice to arrive. I will update this post when I receive it.

I just love the white stitching.

There's a very faint/small branding at the front of the bag. It simply states Peter Nitz Zurich.

On the inside of the handles are two stamps. On one side is a tiny Dream bag with the year 2025. On the other is Made In Romania. I love the little details.

This is the back of the bag after seven carries. I normally take photos of the bag when it is brand new out of the box but I wanted to show how this bag wears. It does scratch quite easily. The scratches will fade over time, but there will always be new ones to take their place. I know not everyone likes to see scratches on their bags, but I have come to embrace the marks. They do not bother me as much as they used to. To be honest, I love a used bag. Most of my bags are bought pre-owned. The scratches give a nice vintage feel. And if you're not into it, which I completely understand, Peter does offer the same bag in a pebbled leather which will be more resistant to scratches and marks.

I would actually consider a future bag in Geneva Calf. I would love to experience this type of leather as well and I'm curious to know which leather I would prefer.

The bottom of the bag does not have any feet. I wish it did but it's not a deal breaker for me.

I also asked Peter if any part of this bag was saddle stitched and he confirmed the small patch where the D rings are attached are hand stitched by his team in Romania (above photo). The inside is lined with suede and the bottom of the bag has a hard leather base for shape.

Before I sign off I wanted to share a story. On the very first day I took this bag out for a spin, I got caught in the rain. It was a light drizzle, but I was walking for maybe five or six minutes in the rain. When I got into the restaurant I took the photo below on the left. After about ten minutes, it almost dried up completely. I was very impressed! This leather is amazing in the rain. Don't be scared to use this bag! It will be okay, I promise. 😊

That is all for today. I believe I have covered everything, but in case I missed something let me know in the comments below! Hope you all have a marvelous Monday!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Review! Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Size Small Plus Video

You all know I love my bags, and as a Balenciaga collector, I don't often stray from the City and First style. The Rodeo (pronounced like Rodeo Drive) really caught my eye. It gives off a slouchy Hermes Kelly vibe, but way more practical to use.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Small The Rodeo can be carried a few ways. It comes with a crossbody strap that is not adjustable but it is removable. Not sure why anyone wouldn't add a few extra holes to make a strap adjustable these days. Come on Balenciaga! Do better! The top handle is a bit too long for this to work anyhow, I feel like the top handle gets in the way. It sticks out and doesn't sit well in my opinion. I wouldn't carry this bag crossbody unless it was an unforeseen emergency and I really needed my hands free. This bag looks more chic carried by the handle or crook of the arm. It also looks nice left open with the help of the flap tucked in. The Rodeo resembles the Kelly bag ...

Fit Review Friday! Allbirds Tree Glider

Hi everyone! I'm posting from New Orleans. I'm hitting up a Lululemon while I'm here. I always like to visit other Lululemon stores when I'm traveling. I was planning on having an Aviator Nation review for you guys but Hurricane Helene threw my plans out the window. So I will try and have it up when I get back to Atlanta. In the meantime, here's an Allbirds review.  For reference my street size is 5.5. I'm usually a 5.5 in Allbirds, but for the Tree Gliders they run large. I took these in a size 5. Definitely size down. I've partnered up with Allbirds! Super excited to share my  personal link . Click on  my link  for a 15% off. Or use my Code  PETITEIMPACT15 Tree Glider Natural White Beige/Blizzard Sole  Size 5 I went to visit the Allbirds store in Avalon and got to try these on in person.
