New Releases Week of July 29th 2025

Small drop today. I added a few things to my cart that I'm considering. It's been so hot here and I'm sure most of the east and south are feeling very hot and humid the past few days so I am eyeing some more shorts. Going to see if I can try and hold off though! Olive Brown looks very rich and earthy, normally I don't like greens, but this one caught my eye. Did anything catch your eye today? Let me know if you bought anything.

(This is cute, but a little too much fabric in the front for me.)

(Not usually a fan of camo, but this is nicely done.)

(This is interesting lol!)

(This is very 90s, I'm pretty sure my sister had something similar!)

(The short inseam measures 25" which would work for me. However, I am not a fan of HR and these look very high rise to me.)

(That's a mouth full.)

(This is pretty cute!)

(From Early Access, these look kinda cute.)

  1. The strappy tank looks like PJs, interesting they are going for an army green route? The grey camo is nice tho

    1. Hi AC! I can see that. It does kind of look PJs. Going to swing by the store this weekend and see if I can do some try-ons.

    2. I walked through a Lulu yesterday and my teenage stopped to point out the seersucker check strappy tank. She thought it was cute (shows you the target market on that one LOL), so we stopped to look at it. I was surprised that it is very textured. Completely streetwear. Almost like something I would've found at Express back in the day.

    3. Hi Stacy! I saw the seersucker items and did not like the feel texture. I was surprised to also feel it on the inside. Not lined at all. But you should read my new post, I really think Lulu is almost completely geared towards teens.

    4. I hate the texture so much and cannot imagine anyone wearing it. It's awful. The tube top is lined - maybe just in the front..can't remember - but the shorts and pants are not. They are a sensory nightmare!

    5. They really are! I couldn't even bring myself to try it on at the store. 😅

  2. Hey Leslie, if you end up doing some try-ons this weekend, and if you see the WovenAir Cinchable Hem Jogger in Ivory, can you investigate whether or not they are see-through? Thanks in advance!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Size Small Plus Video

You all know I love my bags, and as a Balenciaga collector, I don't often stray from the City and First style. The Rodeo (pronounced like Rodeo Drive) really caught my eye. It gives off a slouchy Hermes Kelly vibe, but way more practical to use.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Small The Rodeo can be carried a few ways. It comes with a crossbody strap that is not adjustable but it is removable. Not sure why anyone wouldn't add a few extra holes to make a strap adjustable these days. Come on Balenciaga! Do better! The top handle is a bit too long for this to work anyhow, I feel like the top handle gets in the way. It sticks out and doesn't sit well in my opinion. I wouldn't carry this bag crossbody unless it was an unforeseen emergency and I really needed my hands free. This bag looks more chic carried by the handle or crook of the arm. It also looks nice left open with the help of the flap tucked in. The Rodeo resembles the Kelly bag ...
