New Releases Week of June 17th 2025

Interesting drop. Loving all the Mauve Gray items, but nothing that is screaming at me to buy it. Spotted a price increase for the Define Jacket - up $10. What do you all think? Still worth it? Or will you be pausing and buying only on WMTM? Honestly, I have not spent a lot of money so far this year at Lululemon. According to my spreadsheet, from January 1st to today, I have spent $73.27 at Lulu versus $562.20 at Athleta. I think that's a new low record! 😮 My closet definitely doesn't need more items!

Let me know what you think of today's drop!

(I like the look, but do not like the fabric they chose for it.)

(Love this color. Also looks like prices are starting to go up! New price is $148.)
😱

(I still love this color.)

(If they released this in the short length, I might be tempted to try it.)

(So cute!)

  1. Nothing for me this week! It’s nice to see some new/returning styles instead of only new colors in the same ones. I have to admit the Nulu and Mesh leggings and bodysuit piqued my interest but if I’m honest with myself, I wouldn’t wear them. I would love to be that confident in yoga class!

No new Defines for me since they took the shortcuts I already complained about. :)

    1. Hi LZ! I only briefly looked at the bodysuits. I know I can never pull it off so I just kind of give it a glance. I don't even wear leggings anymore. I've pretty much only have a few left. They have all been replaced by joggers!

  2. I pretty much only buy from WMTM right now. It's not a question of money for me, I just think the prices are too high for the value of what I'm getting. Maybe I've been around Lulu too long, and it's made me jaded? I have a few define jackets from when they were $88 with prettier patterns and better hardware, and they still look new. So, a new one made more cheaply for $148 isn't tempting to me. I also think I have so much of each style and color that I like, it's easier to wait and see if something I might be interested in goes down in price. They seem to keep the same rotation of colors in just slightly lighter or darker tones. I mean, how many belt bags in various grey tones does one need? They also seem fixated on fast fashion pieces and less on technical gear. They've let go of color stories and pretty patterned tops. It's okay if that's the direction they want to keeping going, it's just not as appealing to me anymore and I no longer feel that FOMO, got to buy it now. It's nice to be able to walk into a store and not really want much versus old Lulu when I'd want to buy everything. Lulu used to be my absolute, go to favorite and now I pretty much only buy aligns there.

    1. Hi Stacy! I hear you, the quality just isn't the same as from 2015 - when I first started buying Lulu. I can't believe it's been 10 years. But agree, the new colors every week is very much fast fashion. I keep waiting for something new to catch my eye, but it's very few and far between. Luckily I have a lot of clothes to last me years! Let's me try other things like shoes and bags. =D

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
