New Releases Week of April 15th 2025

Hey everyone! Sorry for the delayed post. I bet some of you were thinking I am not going to bother covering the Lululemon drops and I wouldn't blame you one bit because I would have thought the same exact thing! It's just been pretty crazy at work. But better late than never! Lots of lacey items, and Pink Dragonfruit. Both are sadly not for me, but my wallet is happy! Athleta has better offerings these days... Maybe it's time I rethink my closet anyway. I already have everything I need, so these drops are just for visual fun. 😍 And there's nothing wrong with that! Let me know what you think!

(I love this color, but I think it's a restock?)

 New From Athleta

(Athleta has their own version of Hawaiian Blue!)

(I don't recall seeing this before, but it's on sale for 49!)

  1. Hi Leslie,
I still check out Lululemon’s new drops on Tuesdays but I’m definitely not as enthusiastic as before. The recent uploads have been very disappointing and the only items I’m still interested in are their bags and accessories. I recently bought the Never Lost Keychain and Clippable Nano Pouch in Lavender Lux at sale prices and love them so much. I will get Everywhere Belt Bag Nano if a nice color comes out.

I’ve spent way more money at Athleta in 2024 and I can see myself doing the same this year.

    1. Hi Andrea! I'm in the same boat this year, definitely spent more money at Athleta than Lulu. Only bought one thing from Lulu so far this year, and from Athleta I have probably bought 5 things? Athleta has way better sales too! I did order a couple of things from Vuori, and I am very interested in Varley tops, but it's already getting hot so Varley may have to wait until fall...

    2. I agree! Athleta offers more petite friendly bottoms, and I've purchasing more from Athleta than Lulu!

  2. Those revealknit floral tights remind me of old fashioned pantyhose. And it looks like she forgot to wear her skirt over them.

I agree, Athleta has way better, more wearable options.

    1. Hi there, that made me laugh, it really does remind me of old fashioned pantyhose!

    2. I was thinking the same thing!! My first thought was, if I was much younger, those would look cute under a jean skirt with some keds, LOL

  3. I can't believe the Reveal(knit) line is back. They were so bad years ago - def like thick panty hose that were see through in squat tests and got pilled very quickly.

I like the changes to the Align Jogger and want to see them in person. They changed the ugly front pocket seams, shortened the cuff, and made them more relaxed. A $98 price point vs the previous $118 is a plus, too!

    1. Hi LZ! If I see the Align Jogger at the store I'll give them a try. But I am guessing since it's full length it will still be a no go for me. But maybe I can make it work? Some people say to try sizing up for a baggier look, so we'll see. I didn't realize the price went down, that's surprising!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
