Fit Review Friday! Vuori Performance Joggers, Athleta Seasoft Mid Rise Joggers, Athleta Girl Run Free Cargo Jogger

Happy Friday! I can't believe next week is the last week of February! I'm getting ready for another no-buy challenge in March. I know a bunch of you are joining me, so start prepping yourself for it. As for today's post, I'm finally getting around to reviewing these bottoms from Athleta and Vuori.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size PXS in Athleta and size XS in Vuori bottoms.

I LOVE these Seasoft joggers. They are super comfy and fit exactly like my Seasoft Mid Rise Straight Crop which are my favorite Athleta pant. I'm wearing my usual size PXS. The length measures 26.5 inches. The leg is slightly wider than the crops, but overall, I am loving these. I have worn them out on weekends and would highly recommend them. I'm very happy to see another petite friendly Seasoft bottom especially since Lululemon hasn't released any new Softstreme bottoms in cropped length.

The stretchy drawcord waistband will give a perfect fit. The waistband hits right at my belly button. The black is more of sueded black, it's not a true black in case anyone was wondering. Seasoft is thinner than Softstreme which makes it more wearable in my opinion. Sometimes Softstreme can be too heavy for me in the summer months.

Next up, we have my favorite everyday joggers. Vuori Performance Jogger still wins in my book as the most versatile jogger ever made. I wear these around the house, sometimes I even wear them to sleep. I'll wear these on the weekends. They're just an all around favorite jogger for me. I tend to buy a new pair once a year now, just to give my collection a refresh. Ecru Heather fits right in with Lululemon's Bone and Athleta's Albalone Gray.

Just a few quick photos since I've posted about these joggers a million times, I'm sure you're all quite sick of them! But they really are the best petite friendly joggers. Not too baggy anywhere and the length is perfect!

Last but not least, I decided to try a pair of Athleta Girl Run Free Cargo Jogger. It's been a while since I tried anything from the Girls section. I went with size Large/12 and the length is perfect. The inseam measures 26 inches. The hip and waist are a smidge tight when I pull them on.

These are double lined, but still feel super light. The fit is almost perfect. I also wasn't a huge fan of the many pleats in the front of the pant, but given these were a bit too tight for me in the waist and hips I returned them. That's it for me! Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

  1. Thanks for another great review, Leslie!

The Athleta Seasoft Mid Rise Jogger looks so cute on you! I personally prefer Athleta's Seasoft to LLL's Softstreme, and Iove how the material drapes. Remember me telling you that my size was on backorder for May delivery? :D It's finally back in stock (maybe returned items) and I might give it a try when there's a sale.

    1. Hi Andrea! Thank you! It's super cute, I love them. I love the feel of Seasoft and Softstreme, but yes Softstreme is a little bit thicker, some people prefer that, but I like the thinner feel of it. It is more drapey for the bottoms.

Ohhh I hope you get to snag a pair! They are always having sales.

    1. Thanks Janessa! Wouldn't mind another color of the Seasoft Joggers. But black is probably the most useful.

    1. Hi AC! Yes this is true, the cargo look might be short lived. I have one pair so far and I do wear them pretty often.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
