Special Post! All the Black Friday Sales I'm looking Forward To!

Happy Friday! There are just soooo many sales happening right now. It's a little overwhelming! No one seems to actually wait until Black Friday anymore. So here are the sales I'm looking forward to and my picks are my own personal wish list. 😅

  • Number one is Mooncat! I have my cart ready. Mooncat only has sales twice a year. It's 20% off your entire purchase. However you cannot get 20% off on top of the sale (bundle) price. It's for full priced items only. Still a fantastic deal though! Here are my top three polishes on my list.
Sale starts 11/22 - TODAY! CODE LUNAR20

(How amazing are the names?!)

  • Banana Republic will be offering 40% off full priced item starting 11/22. I don't often shop at Banana Republic even though I do have the store card. I am totally eyeing these two items though. Use Code BRCARDPERK

(Such a cool scarf, different color on each side.)
  • I'm new to Frank & Eileen, so I don't know if or what kind of Black Friday sales they may have, but I am hoping to snag this Belfast trench coat. My husband loves Les Miz (I can't do musicals) and the trench coat reminds me of something Éponine would wear. He loves Éponine and named his last car after her.

(I love their button ups and woudn't mind trying a couple more.)

(Absolutely love this, just looks so sharp.)

  • Athleta has been having amazing deals this whole month, and I already placed an order last week when they had 30% off everything. But there is one other item I would love to try. I do have a fit review coming! Stay tuned.
(This gets great reviews, nearly 5 stars!)

  • Naked Cashmere is offering 30% off everything as well and I love this cardigan. Still pricey at $345, but it looks so luxe. I have a few pieces from Naked Cashmere and love everything so far.

  • Aviator Nation will usually have 20% off the entire site for Black Friday plus a small selection that's 40% off. I pretty much have everything I want from Aviator Nation, but this pullover is pretty cute.

  • Allbirds is having their Friends & Family Event with 30% off sitewide! Sale is live and ends 11/24
(My favorite color for this style.)

    • Lululemon's Black Friday Early Access Sale dropped on their app. I took a look and nothing was on my wish list. To be honest though, there's not a lot on my wish list from Lululemon. And that's mainly because they don't offer petite sizing. I feel like the new styles are no longer offered in cropped lengths. I am however, curious about this textured fleece vest. I think it's very cute.

    • I feel like this extends to Vuori as well. I keep looking at their new arrivals, but all their bottoms are too long. Which is why I haven't had a Vuori fit review in a long time. Their tops are very hit or miss with me too. Sigh, short girl problems! So if you were wondering why no Vuori fit reviews lately, this is why. That said, I will still look to see what's new from Vuori a couple once a month. Just in case there happens to be something that piques my interest enough to place an order.
    • Last but not least, I know you're all dying to find out what bags are on my wish list. 😆 There's a few, but I'm not 100% sure I want them. Hard to know unless I see them in person. But here they are.
(Would love to get one of these someday.)

(This bag has been on my wish list for a while now, but I'm undecided on the color. They do have a very nice purple on their website, but I hate paying full price, so will wait some more.)

(I have been eyeing this bag for a long time as well, but never pulled the trigger... maybe next year?!)

And with that, is the end of my wish list for 2024. What is on your wish list? Let me know in the comments! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Happy Shopping!

    1. Ooooh, I love that Mooncat nail polish! I looked the the Allbirds sale, but there isn't anything too exciting on the Canadian site right now. I think I'm going to go after some athletic wear with these Black Friday sales, although technically, I don't really need anything. There's just something so motivating about putting on something new and cute to workout in :)

I ordered the Endeavor High Rise Relaxed Fit Pant from Athleta to try, and they are awesome! I haven't measured the inseam yet, but I think they're shorter than the 28.5 inches that's stated on the website, because they seem to be a better length than the Athleta Girl pants I just returned! The fabric is a little heavy, so they drape really well. The satin stripe down the side really dresses them up too. I think I'm going to rock them at my staff Christmas party.

      1. Hi Lola! I totally agree, sometimes a new outfit does help with the workouts. I don't know what it is that makes it more motivating. We workout harder when we feel good about ourselves?

Ohhh nice, if you do get a chance to measure the inseam, I would love to know if it's something I could try but I think anything longer than 26 inches wouldn't work for me. =(

      2. I just measured them, and the inseam is just shy of 28 inches. I think they seem shorter to me because they sit higher on the waist.

      3. Ahhhh, bummer. Darn my short legs. Thanks for pulling out the measurement tape for us!

    2. Would love to see you do reviews in the future on other athleisure brands! Also shoe reviews are also appreciated. Agreed it’s hard to find clothes and shoes for petites! I wear shoe size 5/34.5 and it’s soooo hard to find brands that makes shoes in my size.

      1. Hi Jen! Will add it to my list for 2025. It's a challenge finding new brands that are petite friendly that use good quality materials. Same goes with shoes. I did recently find some Birkenstocks that I wear around the house, I don't wear them outside because I don't see myself being able to walk 5 plus miles in Birkenstocks. I mainly stick to what works for me and for now it's Allbirds. I tried Hokas, did not like the fit or how they look. I've tried On Cloud, same issue - wasn't quite right. Those are really popular with a lot of folks, but don't work for me.

    3. Mooncat is on my wishlist! Since replacing my laptop I lost all my bookmarks and I forgot about Mooncat for the past this year... Now I will have it on my wishlist for Black Friday. I learned about the brand through your post xD. I also want the UGG platform ultra minis, Tatcha... and I spent a lot at Aritzia already with their 20% off private sale... -Janessa

      1. I just ordered Mooncat! I added it all to cart then clicked again through your link in case it helps at all... haha! I got some of the colors you recommended

      2. Hi Janessa! Ohhh nice! I'm so excited for you. The colors are amazing, but many of them require two to three coats to achieve full effect. I hope you also got the Speed Demon Top Coat, it's a must have. Dries so fast. I don't get any commission from Mooncat, but I just love them so much and think it's the best nail polish! Super excited for you!!

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

    First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
