New Releases Week of September 10th 2024

How pretty is Sketch Toile Oil Gray?? WOW, if Lululemon releases this print on a tote?! Definitely buying it. Also interested in Alpaca Wool Cardigan, but have a feeling it will be itchy, but might be willing to try it anyway. Vuori and Athleta also dropped some new items as well. Check it all out below!

Did you get anything?

(Beautiful print on this jacket but the price!! Ouch!)

(I have this in Taupetastic. I think I'll pick this up as well. They're great for layering.)

(I like the look, but sounds like it will be itchy.)

(I haven't liked a print like this in a long long time. No surprise most sizes are sold out!)

(Inseam is 27" in case you were wondering.)

New From Vuori

(This looks really pretty, but very oversized.)

(I've been waiting so long for a new color in these joggers, and this is so not what I was hoping for!)

(Three new colors out in this, Elderberry and Smoke Blue are also very nice.)

New From Athleta

(I wish they included the inseam in the description, but I want to try these.)

  1. Hi Leslie,
Nightfall is such a pretty color and I hope to see it in jackets and bags.

Nothing for me from LLL but I got a Cozy Karma Twist Neck Sweatshirt in gorgeous Feather from Athleta. It’s my favorite sweatshirt and I’ve got it in four colors so far. Not sure if Athleta is carrying less stock in size XXS (tops and bottoms especially in petite sizing) cos it was the last one I got. This happened to most of my recent Athleta purchases and I always got the last one in stock!

Fall is my favorite season and I’m looking forward to more purples, greys and blues/teals!

    1. Hi Andrea! Ohhh I love the color Feather! I hope to snag it in something. They're def carrying less in PXS and XXS. If I don't place the order pretty fast after an item is released it usually sells out.

  2. I've been wanting a top to come out in the Soft Jersey, so I snapped up that hoodie as soon as I saw it! The Toile print is so pretty - it reminds me of Lulu pre-2018. I'm happy to see it.

Andrea, I know what you mean about Athleta. I think they're only stocking one or two pieces in the smaller petite sizes, which kind of sucks if we want to wait for discount codes/markdowns. Most of the stuff I've had my eye on lately has sold out before I could even make a decision about it. Oh well, easier on the wallet, I guess.

    1. Hi Lola! Ohhh let me know what you think of the Soft Jersey hoodie. It reminds me of the Vuori Essential Hoodie. Yessss, I hope to see more of the print. Would be amazing for Lulu to go back to 2018 era.

    2. I hate paying full prices too, Lola! What a bummer! :(

    3. The Soft Jersey Hoodie arrived, and it's a keep! Yes, I think it's very similar to Vuori. I can't stop touching it - it's so soft! It's true-to-size, the sleeves aren't too long, and the length hits at the hip, if anybody is curious.

    4. Thanks Lola for letting us know! I'm hoping to see something similar in a full zip hoodie.

  3. Wow - the F&Fs in Sketch Toile Oil Gray are so pretty! I was tempted to order them even though I don't wear that style. I definitely hope to see more in that print. Nightfall is also really nice, and I'd scoop up a Flow Y if it releases.

I tried on the cropped cardigan on Monday night. It's a weird fit, and the XS was still too big in the armpit area.

    1. Hi LZ! Same, I don't wear leggings anymore and even I was tempted! I'm sure we will see more of that print, at least I hope so.

The cropped cardigan is cute. That's too bad it has a weird fit.

  4. Wow the reflective sketch toile rain jacket is soooo stunning. I also love the cropped ribbed cardigan and the color Legacy Green. I'll have to check out the upload! I have an old merino wool Lulu sweater that isn't itchy but it shrunk in the wash to be fitted instead of oversized. -Janessa

    1. Hi Janessa! Good to know the merino wool wasn't itchy. I am really thinking about buying the alpaca cardigan and see how I like it compared to my naked cashmere ones.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
