Tree Flyer 2 are my current favorite Allbirds style. This color is called Afterflow Orange. It's not really orange at all, kind of a pale pink with very slight peach undertones. I think it's so gorgeous. Yes, it's probably not the best color to wear for fall/winter but I couldn't pass up the color. It still feels like summer in Atlanta, so I will get some more wears before I put them away till spring.

I love the pull tabs in the front of the shoe. Comes in handy while I break them in. They are fairly tight at the opening while brand new, but after a few wears, it stretches a little and molds to your ankle for a custom fit.

I wear a pair of these almost everyday. They're fantastic for long walks and I even run in these on the treadmill about 4 times a week. Perfectly comfortable and very bouncy.

That's it for me! Let me know if you shopped the Allbirds Sale and if you bought a new pair! I'm tempted to get another black pair as back up. Maybe even white?? I never had a white pair of sneakers before. Can't beat the extra 30% off sale price.

  1. Hi Leslie,
I’ve never tried the Tree Flyer and wonder how you would compare it to the Tree Dasher in terms of fit and comfort etc.

Ugh I’m still waiting for Rugged Purple to show up on the Canadian site!

    1. I'm with you, Andrea - are we ever going to see Rugged Purple?? At least we have a couple of pairs of the Tree Runner Go now, but compared to the variety of colors on the US website, the Canadian website is lacking, to say the least. Oh well, at least I'm not tempted to spend money, lol.

Leslie, the color of those Tree Flyers is really cute. I've never tried a pair of those either. They sound like they're quite a versatile shoe.

    2. Hi Andrea and Lola! Great questions. I would say the original Tree Dasher 2 when they were first released were my favorite in comfort and fit. They changed the opening at the ankle in my newest pair and it's not as comfortable. I can't put my finger on it as to what exactly changed, but it doesn't feel as snug and something about the fit is off for me. So with that to compare to my Tree Flyer 2, Tree Flyer 2 wins. I have 4 pairs of them and for me it's the better shoe. I do want to try the Tree Gliders though. I'll have to see if they have those at the store.

Can't believe Rugged Purple isn't available in Canada yet!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
