Fit Review Friday! Pranayama Restore Wrap, Forever Fleece Full Zip Sweatshirt, Forever Fleece Mid Rise Jogger

Happy Friday! I placed a really big Athleta order during their 20% off sale, so the haul will be broken into a few fit reviews. Before we get into it, Allbirds is having their Labor Day Sale with 30% off everything except for their Tree Gliders. I do want to try the Tree Gliders and will see about visiting an Allbirds store this weekend. My new favorite is their Tree Runner Go. I am tempted to order another pair in Rugged Beige.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size PXS in Athleta and Size 4/6 in Lululemon.

(Currently on sale $66.75)

The Pranayama Restore Wrap is a basic that everyone should have. I wear this wrap at home for when I want to lounge around and I can also get away with wearing this to the office. I love a piece that can perform double duty! Smoky Rose is my new favorite color from Athleta. It's brown with purple undertones. It's slightly more brown than what the photos show. This wrap is great for fall and as usual the Nirvana fabric is super soft, although not as soft as my older ones. It's currently on sale for $66.75.

I was really curious to try their Forever Fleece line. I love a good matching set. I went with Pyrite since I'm still exploring my neutrals only phase in my wardrobe. Pyrite reminds me of chocolate hazelnut color. It's beautiful. If I weren't on a neutrals only kick, I would have defaulted to Iris, such a beautiful deep purple.

The Forever Fleece Full Zip Sweatshirt fits true to size. I'm wearing my usual Petite XS. I love the thickness of the hoodie and the fleece is soft and cozy. I love the sleeve length, it's perfect, not too long at all. I was shocked when I put this on.

This would be great piece for fall, but I have two issues with this hoodie. The length feels slightly too cropped. I think because the hood is so big and heavy, it falls back and pulls the front of the sweatshirt up. I found myself tugging at the length to pull it back down. The second gripe is the pockets! While I appreciate pockets, I also want usable pockets. These are very shallow that can barely fit my hand. On top of that they also sit up higher than I'd prefer. Unfortunately, I am sending this hoodie back.

This matching set reminds me of my Juicy Couture days back in the mid aughts. I still think Juicy made some of the best tracksuits. Okay, I admit I could have done without the velour material. But I loved the look! I probably have some embarrassing photos somewhere. 😆

Overall, the look is just a little too baggy for me. It feels a little sloppy. Way too much fabric.

These joggers run HUGE! Not even large, they are gigantic. I sized down based on the reviews and I'm glad I did. Even so, they're still way too baggy in the legs. The length is also too long, they measure 26.5 inches. Lots of excess material all around. I also sent these back. I will say the joggers are ridiculously comfortable, but just not flattering on me.

That's it for me! Happy long weekend to my US and Canadian friends! Take it easy and don't work too hard. 😆

  1. Hi Leslie,
Thank you so much for the review on the new Forever Fleece items! I was tempted to give them a try but looks like they won’t be too flattering on me. The hoodie is too cropped for my liking plus I like hoods with two seams like the LLL ones. The pants are too baggy and I’ll be swimming in it lol.

Pranayama Restore Wrap in Smoky Rose is pretty but I wish it was more purple than brown. Still a gorgeous piece and I love that it’s buttery soft.

My wallet is not safe with so many nice fall items coming out at Athleta. :D

    1. Hi Andrea! Yeah I am starting to get worried that Athleta is making their petite sizing bigger than usual because of the oversized trend and we'll be sized out.

I have more Athleta coming! Wallet definitely not safe. lol.

    1. Hi there! I haven't checked out Athleta girls in a while. The Athleta store closest to me is closed due to renovations. But I'll def take another look when they reopen.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
