Fit Review Friday! Allure Shirt Jacket and Endless Bomber Jacket

Happy Friday! It's currently 67 degrees this morning and False Fall is in the air. The high is still mid 80s today, but it sure does feel nice and cool when I leave the house. I'm definitely ready for fall. I'm looking to refresh my wardrobe with a few pieces. At the moment, Athleta really has my attention with their current offerings.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size Petite XS in Athleta. I also wear size 4/6 in Lululemon tops.

This Allure Shirt Jacket reminds me of Frank & Eileen but half the price. I've been looking for a Shacket the last couple of years but until this one came around, they all looked too oversized on my petite frame. The Allure Shirt Jacket is semi-oversized but still looks flattering. I absolutely love how it drapes so easily. The fabric is smooth and soft. It's feels really comfortable on.

I'm wearing size Petite XS and love the length. The sleeves are too long as usual, but I will be wearing it with the sleeves rolled and cuffed. I think this will be something I will wear on the weekends as well as to the office. I still think it's professional enough to wear in a business casual setting.

It also looks great unbuttoned. I can't wait to wear this out! Do you think it looks better buttoned or unbuttoned?

I have been eyeing the Endless Bomber Jacket and finally ordered it to try. The fabric feels like it's woven, with a slight texture. When the jacket is zipped up, I do think the collar is a little too form fitting.

The sleeves are way too long and this isn't the type of sleeve where you can roll it up and cuff because the inside is lined. I think this jacket looks the most flattering left open. The length of the jacket is perfect, and very petite friendly. It hits at high hip.

Overall this bomber is petite friendly minus the sleeve length. Not sure what happened there. I like that the inside is lined and the overall cut and fit is flattering. They just forgot to shorten the sleeves some more. 😅 I ended up sending this back.

If you are a Gap card holder there is a 20% off coupon code - CARD20. I do have a Lululemon fit review coming up for Monday and another Athleta fit review next Friday! That's it for me. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. 😊 It's the last few weeks of summer. Enjoy it!

    1. Hi Janessa! I'm tempted by the HH shorts too! I think I need to go up a size though, they just keep getting smaller or I'm getting bigger LOL.

  2. Hi Leslie! The Allure shirt jacket is a great find! I think it looked nice both buttoned up or unbuttoned as a causal jacket.

  3. I love how the Allure Shirt looks on you, Leslie, and the color goes with everything!

Athleta definitely comes up with more interesting designs while LLL tends to release new colors in best selling items.

    1. Hi Andrea! Thank you! I totally agree and honestly I am getting a little bored of Lululemon these days. There's not a whole lot that is interesting to me.

  4. I like how the shoulder drops on the shirt jacket, which is probably why it drapes so well. Can’t believe fall is upon us, it sure feels that way! The bomber is a no for me, just way too much sleeve

    1. Thanks AC! I have seen some dropped shoulders where it doesn't work. I think it also depends on the fabric. This one is just so smooth and soft.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
