New Releases Week of July 9th 2024 Plus A Surprise!

Looks like fall items are back! But honestly, I don't think they ever went away. The Wunder Puff  Cropped Vest is back and I think the price went up? I'm sort of interested in the Scuba Pullover Sleeveless Hoodie but I don't know how practical that would be. I do love my Two-Tone Canvas Tote 4L and use it all the time. It's nice to see Lulu releasing it in more colors. Nothing for me this week, how about you? Also check out the surprise at the end of this post! 💜

(Did the price go up??)

(This is kinda interesting.)

We just adopted another kitten from the shelter today. He's 6 months old and his name is Snoopy! 😅 How handsome is he? Such a sweet little soul. Welcome home little guy. He's settling in and I'll have some more photos coming and will post them up on my Instagram stories if anyone wants to follow. 😻

  5. Karen, Andrea, Lola - Thank you all so much! Turns out today is National Kitten Day too! Just in time. He's settling in nicely. We haven't introduced him yet to the rest of the gang but they are sniffing through the door. Ash isn't very happy. But the rest of them seem to be okay with the new smell.

  6. Congrats on your new kitty baby! I love the kitten phase but also really enjoy growing older together.

Hot pinks get me everytime - couldn't resist at least 1 item in Pow Pink. I ordered the cropped Swiftly SS. I also ordered the new Breezethrough Tight 25" in Black to try.

  7. Hi LZ! Thank you so much, yes I can't wait to see how he looks in 6 months. He's still pretty small right now, I think he might have been a runt.

Ohhh let me know what you think of the Breezethrough Tight!

    1. I tried the Breezethrough Tights on last night in-store - after I placed my order, dangit. I'm a 2 in Aligns, 4 in WTs, and tried a 4 in BT. I don't like them. The material is hard to describe. It feels somewhere in between Nulu and Nulux to me...maybe also like a thicker pantyhose. They are sleek and slippery. The waistband is tight at the top and more like Wunder Train sizing than Align. It has a bonded edge back-drop in pocket that adds a tiny bit of bulk and makes the waistband more snug. It is seamless at the very top, but there is a seam very close to the top edge on the inner folder. The fabric isn't folded down smoothly on itself like Aligns, if that makes sense. I will try on the pair that's being shipped once more, but they are likely a return for me.

I also saw the shorts. They are just like the tight construction and have grippers at the bottom - not a fan!

    2. Oh thanks for your review! I don't like anything tight anymore, so definitely not for me then. I hardly wear my Aligns anymore, it's been a few years. Might be time to move em out. Besides them being tight, how did you like the look of the no seem front? Does the back look pinched? Not sure if that's the right word lol.

    3. The back reminds me of a lot of those Instagram brands with a very accentuated V, but the Align Jogger and Pushing Limits Tight were similar. There isn't a scrunch elastic. I didn't mind it. I think the front kind of looked like a Barbie crotch.

    4. I think I def like the back more than the front. The front does look like Barbie haha!

  8. Congrats on the new cat! Those are some nice photos 😊

  9. Oooo I love blue willow! It is like a darker daydream/blue linen which is what I’ve been wanting! The wunder puff vest did go up in price! When I bought it on sale it was originally $228?! And they all went on sale for $128 last year. I’m glad I got one! -Janessa

    1. And Snoopy is sooo adorable!! Awww yay a new kitty that is so sweet (:

    2. Hi Janessa! Blue Willow is really pretty. What will you get in that color?

I knew it went up! $20 isn't terrible but now it's extremely off limits unless it's on sale. I don't need anymore vests, thankfully.

Snoopy is so sweet, I'm so happy I have him.

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
