2024 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Starts Today!

It's that time of the year! I didn't post about the sale last year, but this year there are a few items I am interested in. Unfortunately most of the items are already sold out in my size. 😓 The good stuff really does go fast. I am not a Nordstrom card holder so I have to wait until the sale goes live to the public.

Here are my Nordstrom picks!

(I am loving my two pairs of Mother jeans, can't say good enough things about them. Nordstrom does carry petite Lil Mother jeans. Not on sale though.)

(These are my all time favorite socks to wear.)

(Super popular, but they do not work for me, but I still like the look.)

(I always liked Joe's Jeans. Inseam is 28")

(I love Rails for the button-ups.)

(These two Tumi bags caught my eye, I love a nice crossbody bag.)

(I use this a couple of times a week, and it leaves my face super soft. This tube usually lasts me a couple of years!)

(I don't wear make up everyday, but when I do, these are my go to for eye shadow.)

  1. I enjoyed reading your picks! I was interested in a Farm Rio sweater, a pair of PJs and a pair of Mother distressed jeans. All were long gone before I had access to the sale. The only other thing I'm considering is a skin care purchase. A Beautybio microneedling set with some creams. I've never tried microneedling, but I know a lot people who like it and there's some good reviews. It's kind of pricey set, so I'm waffling. I also have a PMD spatula device that I'm considering instead. I want to try something new for anti-aging help, but I'm not sure. Maybe I'll end up getting nothing, lol

    1. Hi Stacy! Yeah I hear you, stuff goes so fast during these sales. I recently got a red therapy wand that I've been using on my cheeks mainly and I do think it is lightening up some of my spots after 6 weeks of almost daily usage. Definitely think my color is more even now. Not on the Nordstrom sale though, just something I've tried for my skin. Other than that I use my Drunk Elephant cream morning and night and that's about it for me. I'm too lazy to try more things! lol.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
