Review! Louis Vuitton Monogram Mini Soft Trunk Denim Blue Cowhide

My handbag journey continues with this Louis Vuitton Mini Soft Trunk in beautiful denim blue cowhide leather. I first saw this in person during my visit at Fashionphile, I fell in love with the color and leather. It is gorgeous to touch, but I didn't get to try it on or play with it at the store. I was just so distracted by all the other purses but after I left, I couldn't get it out of my mind, so I did the one thing I could do. I placed the order.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall.

This bag is so gorgeous in person. I love the size but the hardware does make the bag a little heavy. I do think the small chain attached to the front pocket is very cute, but the large chain links attached to the strap are a little too much. I would have preferred a full leather crossbody strap.

It's definitely a head turner. The strap is adjustable, but it is a bit finicky. However, the strap is not removable which is a bummer because the large links can be a little cumbersome to wear. My husband (Jared) was saying he would not trust me wearing this bag because he would worry the chain would damage the car. Which is actually a valid concern, especially when I'm getting in and out of the car. 😅

Please check out my video below. I show what fits inside the bag and how to adjust the length of the strap.

Let's take a look at the gorgeous details of this bag. The leather is supple and soft. The raised monogram design and color really makes this bag beautiful. The airbrushed look makes this bag even more unique.

Measurements:
7 inches across x 5 inches high x 3 inches wide.

This bag can be worn with the chain in the front of your body, but I prefer the chain hanging down my back. It has a zip top closure that extends slightly down the side so you can open the bag a little wider to get things in and out. I love the aged silver hardware. The corners are also protected by hardware which adds a nice touch.

The strap is attached to the bag on one end, but not on the other. I really wish the strap was removable.

Bottom of the bag.

I just LOVE how this bag looks.

In the end I returned this bag because while I love how it feels and looks visually, I decided that the strap wasn't as practical to use and made the bag heavier than I liked. Don't forget to check out my video! That's all for me today. I hope you all have a wonderful Monday!

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...
