New Releases Week of May 21st 2024

I am dying for Taupetastic items, so I think I'm going to finally pull the trigger and place an order. The French Terry Long Sleeve Shrug is back but the sleeves are too long for petites.     When I saw the picture of the Rugged Purple Trail Runners, my immediate reaction was "oh noooo" :) Luckily, they're not on the Canadian site yet, so my wallet is safe!

    I kind of like that Pride Print - I think it looks really nice in the bags. I also like that Gossamer Floral Print, but I don't think I'd get much wear out of a Hooded Define Jacket.

      Hi Lola! They'll probably show up on the Canadian site soon. I'd say a couple of weeks maybe? I am not sure how long the delay is.

      I like the Pride print too. Unsure if I need anything with it though!

    I regretted not getting the shrug in Bone last year, so I ordered it. The sleeves are too long, but I mainly plan to wear it to/from pilates as a super light summer cover-up, so that's okay!

    I also like the pride print, but I don't understand why they don't just go "rainbow" and continue to do these abstract graphics...that seem to hit WMTM. I feel like a return of the rainbow Swiftly would do really well.

      Hi LZ! I really like the shrug. It looks super cute in Bone. If I could find a way for me to wear it to the office I would consider it lol.

      Yes!!! Why not just do Rainbow tees and socks and shorts. I would be way more into that and would sell out super quick.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

  I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

  Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

  So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels.
