FIt Review! Ultralight Waist Length T-Shirt and Adapted State High Rise Cropped Jogger 23 inches

I stopped by the store again to see if they had any Taupetastic items but no luck. I guess I may bite the bullet and place an order online. I have been trying to visit stores more often these days.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4 in tops and I like to size up to 6 for comfort in pants.

also wearing Vuori Boyfriend Cargo Jogger Size XXS

This t-shirt is made of thin lightweight mesh fabric. It is slightly see-through. I'm wearing size 4 and it's a perfect fit at the shoulders and arms, but if you want a slightly looser fit, I would size up. This top is meant for running and training. The length is perfect for petites, it hits at the low waist on me. For $58, it's not bad for Lululemon pricing. This top comes in a lot of different colors. Light vapor is an off white color which would be good for warm weather if you're training outdoors.

I wish the store had these joggers in a lighter color like Rover. It's hard to see the details on black fabric. Apologies for terrible fitting room pics on these pants. The length is 23 inches long and I found them to be slightly too short for my liking. They hit at my ankles. I'm wearing size 6 and the waistband is flat and hits at my belly button.

I like the zipper detail at the ankles, which allows for breathability and air movement. This is semi-fitted or classic fit as Lululemon states on the website. I like the side pockets, it's hard to see but it looks very seamless. Price is $118 and I think that's about average for Lululemon pricing. It's hard to find a pair of bottoms under $100 these days!

Last weekend I tried the Dance Studio Cropped Pants, and prefer those over the Adapted State Joggers. That's it for me! I hope you all have fantastic start to a brand new week!

  1. The shirt fabric looks oh so comfortable but still too cropped for my tastes, thanks for reviewing!

    1. HI AC! I am just happy it's not showing my belly button. =D

  2. Thanks for the fit reviews, Leslie!

I haven't tried on the Ultralight line yet, but I do love how lightweight they feel. I'm not a fan of the Adapted State Jogger. The full length version is too long, and the crops are too short on me. I also don't like how scratchy the material feels - especially when I bend my knees to walk. I can't image trying to run in them...

    1. Hi LZ! I am really surprised at how much I like the Ultralight top. The more I think about it the more I like it more than Swiftly tops. May have to see if they end up on WMTM and grab a few colors.

Didn't notice the scratchy material of the Adapted State Jogger but agree it's too short, I would have preferred a 25" length.

  3. Hi Leslie,
Thanks for another great post! I saw one and only one (probably a returned item) Scuba Hoodie in Taupetastic at a store over the weekend and must say the color is even prettier than I thought! I can see why it was sold out in most sizes so fast!

I’m not a fan of cropped tops and wonder how long this trend is going to last lol.

I love my two Adapted State Joggers in fleece. My regular size 2 was a tad long and luckily sizing down worked! I’ve seen the non-fleece version in person and the waist seems to fit small. Also not loving the material.

My Athleta order arrived and sadly the Brooklyn Mid-rise Ankle Pant doesn’t work for me. 00 Petite is too short and looks silly with the straight hem. Might have worked with a tapered hem. Size 00 Regular, on the other hand, is a tad long. Also I’m not loving the side panels so both pairs are going back.

    1. Hi Andrea! Taupetastic is soooo pretty in person. I might just have to place an order online. Maybe after today's drop!

Agree, this crop top trend is lasting way too long.

Bummer neither lengths fit! At least you tried the Brooklyn Pants. I don't mind the stripe on them. I like them in black the best. I have more Athleta reviews coming up. I've definitely been gravitating towards their clothes more this year.

  4. The shirt is a cute fit but I find LLL light colored tees and tanks to be too sheer! Ok for gym but for daily not so much

    1. Hi Janessa! Totally fair. I think they would also be fine when it's 100 degrees out!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
