Review! Coach Lunar New Year Dragon Rogue 25 Limited Edition

I'm so excited to share this bag with you all! This purchase was made at the tail end of 2023. So I'm still good on my no-buy challenge. One of my 2024 goals is to put up a Youtube video every other week which will mainly focus on bags. Hope you all enjoy my review!

For reference i'm 4 feet 11 inches tall.

At the time of this post, the bag is already sold out. It was not up for long as it's a limited edition piece. It's also the year of the Dragon and this bag is beautiful so I am not surprised at how quickly it went.

If you're not familiar with the Rogue bag, they come in many sizes now and it's this style that brought me back to Coach. The Dragon Rogue 25 is their small to medium size bag. It will fit your essentials and then some. I will also link to my video to show what fits.

This bag comes with two sets of straps. You can carry it crossbody which I prefer, or use the other set of straps and carry it over the shoulder. You can also carry the bag by the top handle or in the crook of your arm. I think the extra straps make this a very versatile bag.

Check out my detailed video to see the box and what fits inside the bag.

This limited edition piece comes in its own exquisite box with the artwork of the dragon and Coach overlay in gold. The box is just as beautiful as the bag. I have read some reviews have said they wished the bag was black to match the box it came in. I'm debating if I feel the same way. I think black isn't associated with luck which is why maybe the artist didn't go with that route. I'm a little surprised the box isn't red, but then the dragon would probably have gotten lost in it.

Let's look at the details of the bag.

I absolutely love this 1941 hang tag. The flip side has Coach and chinese characters, which I assume is the artist's name. The  main compartment lining is a beige fabric with two slip pockets. There is plenty of room for all of your essentials.

Size- 9 3/4" (L) x 7 3/4" (H) x 5 1/2" (W)

This bag holds a lot because of their two outside compartments that are quite large. I can fit a Moleskine notebook in there.

The dragon is printed onto smooth glovetanned leather. There are gold foil accents on top of the dragon that feel like they are added on, possibly by hand. It's absolutely stunning.

(The zipper is buttery smooth. Hardware is brass.)

(Four protective feet on the bottom of the bag.)

Overall, this bag is absolutely stunning and I think the artist and Coach did an amazing job with this one. That's it for me, hope you all have a wonderful Monday.

In my late night searches for dragon Lunar New Year items I came across this charm from Pandora.

(I'm thinking of getting this for my sister. It looks lovely with the matching bracelet.)

  1. Oh wow, you got that bag!! I'm so jealous :). It's not only fabulous, but functional as well. I'm happy you did an in-depth review and video - I find the luxury brands don't really show what the inside of the bags are like. I really like the layout of the Rogue, and that dragon is just beautiful! I think it's one of my favorite bags you've reviewed so far!

    1. Hi Lola! Glad you like the video! I tried to keep it as short as possible, but there was a lot to go over and the dragon really is a piece of art work.

  2. Wow - Coach did such a nice job with that! The dragon is gorgeous. I haven't carried Coach since high school but might need to check it out again. I haven't seen the Rogue line but really like the shape.

    1. Hi LZ! They really did! Yeah, for a long time I didn't even look at Coach, but that all turned around with the Rogue line.

  3. hi Leslie! What a stunning bag! The artwork on the bag is intricate and beautifully done! I love the gold details; they go so well with the brass hardware! I think the pink leather makes a nice background for the dragon and is muted enough for pairing with different outfits Thank you for sharing with us!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
