Hi everyone! This post is written by my husband. Some of you may know he does all the cooking around here. 😅 We noticed we were spending a lot of money on food and eating out every month and wanted to see if a meal kit service would save us money and time. After looking at a few meal kit services we settled on HelloFresh. Without further ado, here's Jared's review. (Original post date Aug 2022). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As you may have seen from Leslie's Instagram stories for the past 2 months, we've been using HelloFresh for most of our meals. The main drivers for this were to better track what we eat and because on the advice of my doctor, I should be eating more home cooked meals. Before I go any further, it should be noted that my original career path was in culinary arts, but twists and turns in life changed that. So I do have formal cooking experience. A little background story. Over the years, I've developed
I briefly scrolled the sale and then quickly closed the window. The final sale aspect left me annoyed. I didn't like it when Lulu used to do that either. It's hard to buy online as final sale unless I've already seen the item in person and tried it on. I've been burned a few times by final sale items that fit weird or colors were off IRL, so I'm wary of purchasing that way now. I end up listing them on eBay or giving them away and then feeling sour that I lost money (way less likely to take a risk again with that same company). It's a bummer because Athleta's return policy is one of the major draws for me.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree. I was contemplating a sweater, but it was final sale and in the end I decided against it for the same reasons. Plus it was still over $100. Athleta used to not do this, so I am disappointed as well. I was so surprised at how many items are marked final sale this early on. I am hoping they reverse that if the items do not move.
