Vuori Fit Request! Sedona Half Zip, Miles Jogger, and Restore Half Zip Hoodie

Today's post is a fit request from Cindy. I've actually had my eye on the Sedona Half Zip since last year, but my size was always out of stock. When I saw my size available in Salt, I placed my order so fast! I wanted to do a fit review on two of their puffer coats but size XXS is completely sold out in every color. I'll keep my eye out for a restock. All the reviews say their outwear runs large.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size XS in Vuori tops and bottoms. I also wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms and size PXS in Athleta tops and bottoms.

I'm wearing size XS in the Sedona Half Zip and it's semi fitted. If you're looking for a more fitted look, size down. I want to note the photos look darker than usual due to the rainy weather we've been having, but the color Salt is a very pretty ivory with gray undertones.

This half zip pullover is lined with soft French Terry. The outside fabric feels soft and plushy. This is a light to medium weight pullover and I look forward to wearing this with my vests. You can wear this pullover two ways with the drawcord cinched for a more fitted look at the waist or wear it loose for a straight cut. I think it looks very cute cinched in. This is one of the more flattering pullovers for petites. This is a definite keeper for me.

The sleeves are a little long, but not enough to complain about. This top is as comfortable as it looks. I highly recommend this pullover if you're in the market for one.

Earlier this year I tried on the Miles Ankle Pant and while I liked the fit, I wasn't a fan of the fabric. The fabric feels like a slicker version of my husbands swim shorts. I'm wearing my usual size XS and it fits true to size throughout the waist and hip. The length of these joggers measure 26 inches long. The cuff is slightly loose and sits at my ankles.

I think they're slightly too baggy at the cuffs even though the length works. I would love to see a more tapered leg and fitted cuff.

The jogger features an elastic waistband with a drawstring. This is a mid-rise jogger that hits at my belly button. The pockets are large and deep, which is nice. Oregano is a deep green olive color. Overall, this jogger is petite friendly, but not the most flattering. Vuori's Performance Joggers are hard to beat.

Last but not least, we have the Restore Half Zip Hoodie in Light Heather Gray. This is a medium to heavyweight half zip pullover hoodie. The inside is lined with soft fleece and this will keep you warm.

I'm wearing size XS and this fits slightly oversized. If you prefer a more fitted look, size down. The sleeves are a little too long and they do bunch up a little too much for my liking. The hood is smaller than Lululemon's Oversized Scuba Hoodies. The back has a nice drape for a sweatshirt material.

I'll admit, Vuori makes some really comfortable clothes. The length hits at the hip and I don't think it's too cropped for petites. It is slightly boxy. If you have longer arms, this hoodie may work for you.

Thanks to Cindy for the fit request, and I will be keeping the Sedona Half Zip. While I like the Restore Half Zip Hoodie the sleeves are too long even though it's super plushy on the inside. That's it for me, I hope you all have a wonderful Monday!

  1. I should be the one thanking you for doing the fit review I requested Leslie! I really love how cute the Sedona half zip is on you and even though i was leaning towards the Restore Half zip hoodie before your fit review, I really like the style of the Sedona. I'm not crazy about hoods since some of my coats and jackets have hoods and it just adds more bulk. You're right about the Miles jogger. Too bad because I do like the material. But I'm wondering if the xxs would fit slimmer. Anyhow, I bought the LLL adapted state jogger crops which are similar to the Miles jogger i think although the fabric might be thinner. I'm going to California in December and I'm hoping to hit a Vuori outlet. I know their full price stores don't carry xxs but I'm hoping that's not the case for their outlets. Has any reader been to an outlet and seen xxs items? Cindy

    1. Hi Cindy,

You're very welcome. I really think the Sedona Half Zip is a lot cuter and more flattering than the Restore Half Zip. It is thinner though, the Restore Half Zip is cozier since it's lined with fleece. I haven't been to a Vuori outlet so I can't answer your question about size XXS. If you hit up a Vuori outlet, report back on how it is!

  2. I love the fit of the Sedona half zip on you! The color is really nice too! The plushy Restore half zip looks too much like a scuba to me and I prefer it with pockets.

    1. Hi Janessa! Thanks, the Sedona half zip is so cute and cozy. And you're totally right, the Restore Half Zip does look like the Scuba without the pockets.

We tried HelloFresh for the past two months - Here's our review

Hi everyone! This post is written by my husband. Some of you may know he does all the cooking around here. 😅 We noticed we were spending a lot of money on food and eating out every month and wanted to see if a meal kit service would save us money and time. After looking at a few meal kit services we settled on HelloFresh. Without further ado, here's Jared's review. (Original post date Aug 2022). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As you may have seen from Leslie's Instagram stories for the past 2 months, we've been using HelloFresh for most of our meals. The main drivers for this were to better track what we eat and because on the advice of my doctor, I should be eating more home cooked meals. Before I go any further, it should be noted that my original career path was in culinary arts, but twists and turns in life changed that. So I do have formal cooking experience. A little background story. Over the years, I've developed
