Review! Vintage Fendi Squirrel Denim Spy Bag

While we wait for my Vuori order to arrive, I have a review of this Vintage Fendi Squirrel Spy bag that was released in 2007. This one is made of embroidered denim with rhinestone embelishments with two squirrels, one on each side of the bag. The denim was made to look faded and worn-in and it does resemble a pair of faded black jeans. I am loving the look.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall.

The Fendi Spy bag was a huge hit, coming hot after the Chloe Paddington bag. Unlike the Chloe Paddington, which was known for it's heavy weight but gorgeous leather, the Fendi Spy is airy and light. It's very easy to carry and the size of this bag is large. It can easily fit all of your daily essentials and probably your entire kitchen sink. 😆 I realize small bags are what's in at the moment, but at some point you do need a large bag on certain days. Small bags are cute, but there comes a point where you wish your bag could fit a scarf or water bottle.

This bag can be carried a few ways, by the top handle, over the shoulder or in the crook of your arm.

Let's take a look at the details of the bag.

Here's a close up of the squirrel. There are a cluster of rhinestones where the two eyes are. The embroidery on this bag is truly a work of art! I also love the braided leather handles.

The inside of the bag is very spacious and lined with the iconic Zucca FF logo.

Here is my favorite part of the bag, there is a hidden coin purse where you can hold all sorts of little things. Lipstick, lip balm, money, cards, receipts, etc. There's a small latch on the braided handle that flips open to reveal the hidden compartment. It's so ingenious and creative.

This bag retailed for over $3K in 2007. I was able to buy mine from Ebay for almost 1/10th of the price! The condition is excellent in my opinion. I couldn't really find any flaws.

That's it for me! I hope you enjoyed my review. I will be adding more bag posts as this is my true passion.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
