New Releases Week of November 27th 2023

These Sunday night drops are throwing my whole schedule off. I don't recall this happening last year? Anyhow, lots of new quilted items. Nothing for me even though the Everywhere Belt Bag Quilted Velour in Wine Berry is super cute. Let me know if you bought anything! My orders are slowly arriving and I have lots of fit reviews coming up.

(I'm still holding out for the full zip!)

(Would love to try these in a cropped version, although they're just fancy corduroy?)

(For 5'2" and under- but still too long for me.)

(Has a discreet side zipper.)

(This is cute for the holidays, I love the gold hardware.)

(Wish this was just one large compartment instead of two.)

  1. Hi Leslie,
The Quilted Bomber Jacket in Riverstone is kind of cute but I wish it was slightly longer ...

Saw the Waffle-Knit Funnel-Neck Long-Sleeve Shirt in a store over the weekend. The material is thinner than I hope it would be at that price point. Reviews are not bad though.

I'm hoping that the Scuba Hoodie Plush will be released in more interesting colors.

    1. Hi Andrea! Is the fabric on the waffle knit shirt spongey? It looks spongey to me in the photos. I agree, I am hoping for more colors in the Scuba Plush hoodies!

I am digging Riverstone and would like something in that color.

    2. Hi Leslie,
I only felt the fabric briefly and it didn’t feel spongy, but I’m not 100% certain …

I would love to have something in Riverstone too! It’s such a pretty neutral color.

    1. Hi Cindy, I still haven't decided if I like the quilted items. They look a little poofy for my tastes.

    1. I saw the quilted 1/2 zip and jacket last night, and they are so cute! They are medium weight and nice quality. I've wanted to see the Side Cinched Ribbed Cardigan since it released in other countries, but it looks kind of cheap in person. I also saw the corduroy pants, crops, and jacket - but will pass on all of them. They're too heavy and thick for me. The only item I really liked after seeing last night was the foil Energy Bra. It's actually like a satin material vs the dotted foil they usually use. It's so shiny and pretty!

    2. Hi LZ! Hmmm I saw the released a cropped version of the Cord pants... I am tempted to try a pair. I love wearing the wide leg crops to the office during the colder months. Been getting a lot of use from the two pairs I have.

  4. I'm really kind of digging the Quilted Bomber, but I'm not excited about the price of it. It's the same story for the Cord Crops. It looks like that inseam will be perfect. The Riverstone color is so lovely!

Can't wait to see your upcoming fit reviews!

    1. Hi Lola! Yeah the prices aren't fun, it's like $148 seems to be the standard for new styles. Inflation. Yay! The inseam on the Cord crops are perfect, so I may cave and get a pair in Riverstone to try. It's in my cart but I haven't pulled the trigger yet.

  5. I had no idea the drops are on Sundays now! The quilted bag is SO pretty and I like the idea of a plush scuba 1/2 zip or full zip!! I also like the side cinch cardigan.

    1. Hi Janessa! The side cinch cardigan looks really cute, but it also looks very thin. I am hoping the drops go back to their regular Tuesday schedule this week. If it's changing to Sundays going forward I'll have to adjust my review schedule!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
