Fit Review Friday! Naked Cashmere Montauk Fisherman Hooded Cashmere Cardigan

Happy Friday and Happy November! It's been a chilly few days here in Atlanta, with lows in the 30s and high of 50s. It's the perfect time to break out my Naked Cashmere pieces.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and wear size XS in Naked Cashmere. I also wear size 4 in Lululemon and size PXS in Athleta.

I was eyeing this hooded cardigan for months and finally bought when it went on sale. It's still pricey but Naked Cashmere was giving $60 off on top of the sale price so I jumped on it. I'm still debating if I should keep the  Vuori Boyfriend Cargo Jogger or not. I'm leaning towards yes, just because of how comfy they are.

This hooded cardigan features an open front with rib knitting that looks elevated yet effortlessly casual. Just the kind of vibe I like. I'm wearing my usual size XS and it's slightly oversized on my petite frame but still very flattering. The length is slightly cropped and hits at my hip. I went with Heather Gray since it matches  almost anything. I've also been curating a small neutrals section in my closet and this shade of silver gray looks amazing.

This hooded cardigan would be perfect for a casual weekend out. I can see myself reaching for this during the cold winter months when I want to lounge around on the couch with a cup of hot chocolate in my hands, while watching a holiday movie and snuggling with my four cats. 😸

I am loving the rib knit and the cashmere is so soft and not scratchy at all. I'm wearing it with my Vintage Fendi cashmere Baguette. The Fendi Baguette had made a comeback but I prefer the original. Plus, the new version costs roughly $3K, but you can easily find a vintage one for a fraction of the price. I bought mine from TheRealReal. It's still in very good condition.

That's it for me! I hope you all have a fabulous weekend! Stay warm out there.

  1. Hi Leslie! The wrap is a great fit on you! I love the length, hitting the top of your hips. Very flattering! I think you should keep the cargo pants! The baggy style is trendy now and the colour is nice! Have a great day!

    1. Hi Karen! Thanks so much, I am leaning towards keeping the Vuori Cargo joggers, I just really love the color so much. True about baggy being trendy for now and it looks good with the wrap. =)

  2. Keep the joggers! They look good!. I was wondering if you could do more vuori reviews before black friday. The Miles jogger, the restore half zip hoodie, sedona half zip, and maybe some of their puffer jackets. Thank you! Cindy

    1. Hi Cindy, thanks I did decide to keep the joggers. Wore them yesterday and I love them.

Sure, I'll do what I can to get you some more Vuori reviews. Thanks for asking!

  3. I'm on team "keep the joggers" too! They're a really nice color, and you can't really go wrong with Vuori! I really like the hooded cardigan too! I love how slouchy and cozy it looks.

I think I'm going to pull the trigger and order the Utilitech 7/8 Wide Leg Pants in Riverstone. The reviews are all over the place regarding sizing though. I'm going to try a size down and cross my fingers.

    2. Hi Janessa! I really love my Naked Cashmere pieces and wear them pretty often, and to the office too. I bought a couple of Aritzia sweaters from last year but haven't worn them either. I might gift them to my sister and mom.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
