New Releases Week of October 31st 2023

Happy Halloween! 👻 Lots of Riverstone if you like neutrals, this is a nice one. Brushed Softstreme Ribbed 1/2 Zip  looks so good in Riverstone. Also loving this Textured Fleece Collared Jacket but the sleeves will be way too long. Really wish Lulu would bring Asia Fit over already. They would get so much more of my money!

Let me know if you bought anything from this drop and if you'd like to see a fit review of something, let me know in the comments!

(I still need to try this. Has anyone tried this yet?)

(This full set is gorgeous!)

(I would love this, but already know the sleeves would be too long. 😭)

(Now this is just comical)

(And this is a comically cute look!)

New Arrivals From Athleta

(So pretty! 😍)

  1. Your observations are spot-on! I can’t see buying that jacket or vest. I think some people will buy anything with a Lululemon label.

    1. That Puffer Jacket really makes me laugh! I don't think it will sell even at WMTM prices.

  2. Okay that jacket is enormous! It looks like they sewed on pillows to make that collar. Yuk.

I'm with you on the Riverstone color. It's lovely!

I'm more excited about the Athleta stuff. The Tugga Sweatshirt and the Cozy Karma Zip Pants really caught my eye. We already have snow here (!!!), so I'm all about the warm and cozy stuff right now.

    Happy Halloween!

    1. Hi Lola! They really went wild with the puffiness on that jacket.

Wow snow already?! That's crazy. It's supposed to drop to 32 degrees tomorrow morning and I'm dreading it. But at least I can break out the cashmere and vests! Yes, Athleta's Cozy Karma and Tugga line are amazing! That Tugga Sweatshirt looks so cozy.

  3. The Down Filled Puffer Jacket is great for travels. You don't need to bring your neck pillow on a flight. :D

Sometimes you wonder what the designers were thinking lol.

    1. Hi Andrea! You crack me up! It does almost remind me of something you would see from Yeezy.

  4. Nothing new for me! I really wish there was a short (28" or 29") version of the Brushed Ribbed Softstreme Zip Pants (or whatever they are called). They're too long - and the cropped version was too short for me. I like the grey foil tights from Athleta and wish LLL would offer more colors in foil during the holidays.

I ordered the Hooded Insulated Wrap in Orbit on markdown, though! I tried a 4 in-store, and it was HUGE, so I went with a 2. It's super lightweight and cozy and will be a nice as a to/from from pilates!

    1. Hi LZ - Athleta's foil tights are amazing. I would recommend a pair.

NGL I have been looking at the Hooded Insulated Wrap in Orbit. Do you think I would be able to fit a size 0? Or is it a one size down only jacket?

It looks so pretty in Orbit.

    2. I think you could do a 0. I went back and forth between 0 & 2 and decided I'd prefer it to still be slightly oversized. My co-worker also tried on the 4, and he's a men's medium. It was still a little oversized on him...so yeah, it's big!

    3. Thanks! Last question, do you think this might get marked down any further? Or is it worth the $189?

    4. Oooh good question...maybe if it doesn't sell well now it could go on deeper markdown for Black Friday? It's super cozy, and I think I'll get almost daily use on cold days for class, so I think it's worth it, but $189 still is a lot if you won't be reaching for it that often.

    5. Thanks for your advice. I think I will see if it will get marked down further. It just looks so cute and cozy!

  5. I really like the color Riverstone! I haven't kept up to date with LLL lately. I'm going to catch up with your blog!

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...
