New Releases Week of September 26th 2023

Kind of a meh drop today, but there's more Dramatic Magenta and Purple Ash items available under early access  on the app. I'm tempted to get the Purple Ash Hotty Hot shorts. Are they going to start adding more items under early access and the regular drop just gets the boring stuff? 😑 What is going on here?

So far nothing for me this week, just debating on the shorts. How about you?

  1. Meh is right - nothing for me today! I do kind of like the Daisy Vista Emboss print in black. I might be interested in 25" Aligns if they release, but I can't decide if it's super cute or just blotchy. I think I liked the lighter version better - more daisy-like. Maybe it will make a return in more items?

    1. Hi LZ! I haven't seen that print in black. I just tried to do a search but nothing is coming up on the US site. =(

  2. I've fallen out of love with LL lately. I have enough for now and like Aritzia sweatfleece more. The fabric isn't as nice as LLL scubas (but is similar to the old LLL fleece pullovers and hoodies they had) but the styles and cuts and more sizing fits me much better I wear my Aritzia much more. Still check your blog for all the updates!

    1. Hi Janessa! I can see why. I haven't bought as many items from Lulu this year. I think overall the pieces I have kept is a lot lower than last year. I still can't find anything I like enough from Aritzia to try. I did place an order from Athleta because of the Members event, but we'll see if I end up keeping anything!

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...
