New Releases Week of September 12th 2023

I'm back in Atlanta! That went by so fast. Back to the grind. It's nice to see the Brushed Softstreme Ribbed 1/2 Zip is back along with the Brushed Softstreme Funnel Neck Zip Up. I have both of these and do like them a lot. I can't wait to start wearing them again. Let me know if there's a fit review you would like to see. I have a Lululemon order coming in and will have more reviews up soon! Let me know if you bought anything!

(I have this in White Opal read My Review)

(I have this in Natural Ivory read My Review)

(Love this color so much! 😍)

Like A Cloud Strappy Longline Ribbed Bra Purple Ash

($198 😧 Really?)

Here are some last few pics from my trip. We decided to try the Michelin star dim sum spot Tim HoWan. The pork buns are the best we've ever had. So juicy and just very tasty and nothing we've ever tasted before. It's definitely worth trying.

Went to Polène for the first time. I am in love with the Dix in the sueded croc effect. I also want it in the smooth cognac because that's the more practical choice, but I just want both. 😬

Also, this is within walking distance from my parent's place. It's so beautiful. I have to come here at least once whenever I visit!

  1. I came here to stare at clothes but ended up spending a lot of time staring at your pic at the stripes in the water and admiring the blues and lavenders in the sky! lol

  2. Great photos again! The pictures of the water are beautiful. It looks so serene! Those handbags made me drool. I really want to get one!

As far a Lulu, goes, nothing caught my eye, except for the new way they're photographing the models. I'm not a fan. Maybe they're shooting them from that angle to make them look taller than they already are? I find it distracting and all I'm noticing in those photos is the footwear, lol! They are wearing some cool boots, however :)

    1. Hi Lola! I'm pretty sure I'll get one of those bags, just not sure which one yet. The croc is just so lush. I really want it.

Yeah, I forgot to mention the new photography style Lulu adopted. Not a fan because you can't see the product. I want to be able to see the item clearly, not in this avant garde photography. I guess they want to show they are more fashionable and trendy streetwear more than just workout clothes and athleisurewear. My guess is they are seeing a downward trend in athleisurewear and exploring more avenues.

    2. I agree, the photos look more like they belong in a fashion magazine rather than a catalogue. I get where they're attempting to make themselves look more "high fashion", but in my opinion, this style of photos doesn't make the clothing look very good.

Also, please do a review if you get one/both of those bags! They're beautiful!

    3. Oh I definitely will post a review if I get the bag!

  3. I agree with the comments about the new model photos. They are quite distracting and make it difficult to see the clothing. It's nice to see the Brushed Softstreme Ribbed 1/2 Zip return, but I wish there was one in Meadowsweet Pink! I don't need another, though. It also looks like they increased by $10 from last year, too. I'm interested in the Stroll at Sundown Short but would prefer it in Black. Nothing for me this week!

    1. Hi LZ! Did they increase the price to the Brushed Softstreme Ribbed 1/2 Zip? I don't remember how much it was. Sneaky! I guess I am not surprised. It is a really nice piece and I think worth it. But agree with you- one is enough.

I like the Stroll at Sundown Short short. I'm sure we'll see more colors.

  4. You might be surprised to hear I actually ordered that $198 skirt. I will let you know if it is worth it!

    1. Well, the skirt arrived and the design and material are lovely but I cannot tell you more because it hardly covered one of my legs. I ordered a 2 (usual bottoms size), returned it and waiting on a 6. It fells petite friendly (I am 4ft10) but full fit needs to wait a few days. Cross your fingers I don’t need an 8!

    2. Oh wow! Sounds like it runs very very small. Definitely report back once you get the size 6!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Review! Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Size Small Plus Video

You all know I love my bags, and as a Balenciaga collector, I don't often stray from the City and First style. The Rodeo (pronounced like Rodeo Drive) really caught my eye. It gives off a slouchy Hermes Kelly vibe, but way more practical to use.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Small The Rodeo can be carried a few ways. It comes with a crossbody strap that is not adjustable but it is removable. Not sure why anyone wouldn't add a few extra holes to make a strap adjustable these days. Come on Balenciaga! Do better! The top handle is a bit too long for this to work anyhow, I feel like the top handle gets in the way. It sticks out and doesn't sit well in my opinion. I wouldn't carry this bag crossbody unless it was an unforeseen emergency and I really needed my hands free. This bag looks more chic carried by the handle or crook of the arm. It also looks nice left open with the help of the flap tucked in. The Rodeo resembles the Kelly bag ...

Review! Lululemon's Large Everywhere Belt Bag Size Comparison Plus Video!

Happy Friday! I can't believe it's almost Halloween! I actually have a dentist appointment on Halloween. One of my molars chipped and needs to be filled in. It's a tiny chip that I didn't even notice until my dentist pointed it out to me during my last visit. I'm not looking forward to it at all since I will need local anesthesia. Anyway, today I have a belt bag size comparison review for you all! For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.
