Fit Review Friday! Store Try Ons License To Train Tight Fit Tank, Reversible Crossover Sweater, Push Your Pace Jacket and Huge WMTM Update!

Happy Friday! Last weekend I went to return a few things and walked out with one item. Let's see if you can all guess which item I went home with. 😆

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4 in Lululemon tops.

This tank looked really small on the hanger, so I sized up. I'm really glad I did because even though the tank is super stretchy, I think the size 4 would have been too small on me. The size 6 still fits like a glove and is very form fitting/body hugging. That said it's also super comfortable and was not restrictive in any way. If you're looking for a new tank, I would recommend this one and definitely size up.

The Reversible Crossover Sweater has been on my list to try. The store also had this in Medium Forest which looks a lot like Tidewater Teal (which I love!) but I'm trying to transition to a neutral wardrobe these days, so I went with White Opal.

I'm wearing my usual size 4 and the crossover hem hits right under my bellybutton. This would look great with a hair of high rise bottoms. The sweater is also reversible to switch up the length of the sweater. The sleeves are a little loose and billowy, but I like the style. This is very petite and office friendly piece.

Fabric is soft Boolux, a combination of viscose, lyocell, and cashmere. The care instructions say to wash on delicate and line dry. However, reading the reviews, almost everyone complains about the sweater shrinking one to two sizes after washing. A lot of people suggested dry cleaning instead, which costs money. My suggestion is to use Dryel. I use it for a lot of my cashmere and wool items with a lot of success. It's so much cheaper than dry cleaning. I'll also link to it below.

Push Your Pace Jacket Sonic Pink Size 4 (on sale $139!)

Is everyone already tired of Barbie and Sonic Pink yet? 😂 That's pretty much what this jacket reminded me of when I saw it. I loved the movie btw. It's really funny.

I am wearing my usual size 4 and it hugs your figure. I'd say it is true to size. The sleeves are ridiculously long though and because it's so form fitting, it's hard to roll the sleeves up. This is one of my personal pet peeves and deal breakers. The sleeves also have thumbholes, so this is not something that you can hem, or if you do, you will lose that particular detail.

The length of the jacket hits above the hips, so it's very petite friendly. It's too bad the sleeves are so long. It's made of Glyde fabric and also water repellant. It's designed for running and has reflective details as well.

So, out of the three items, which one did I bring home? If you guessed the Reversible Crossover Sweater, you guess right. I already wore it to the office this week and it was super soft and comfortable and received compliments from my co-workers.

That's it for me! Hope you all have an amazing weekend and see you in October! 👻

  1. You picked some good pieces to try! The jacket is really cute, but I would prefer the the DFIA version. The only Primaloft vest I ever had leaked a lot of filling. I notice a feather here or there with my down items - but not much. The LTT tank is super soft! I might pick up a long sleeve for when I don't want a Swiftly. The sweater is so, so nice! I love how weighty it is.
    Have a nice weekend!

    1. Hi LZ! Yeah I'm actually surprised at how much I liked the LTT tank. The fabric is really nice. Might have to look into getting a top from that line.

  2. Hi Leslie,
The Reversible Crossover Sweater looks so cute on you! I like the style but know it will be too short on me. I’m just not a fan of cropped tops. :(

Can’t believe some colors of the Wunder Puff Jacket made it to WMTM already! It’s not even October and sales for winter clothings should start to pick up when it gets cooler. Velvet Dust is pretty in person and I would’ve got it if I didn’t have the jacket in Heathered Plumful. I love my Wunder Puff Jackets and they are so light and warm.

    Have a nice weekend!

    1. Hi Andrea! Yeah, it will probably be too cropped for you.

I know!! I keep hoping the Heathered Plumful will come out in the cropped version but nope. I might cave and get it in the vest...

    2. Oops sorry, I meant Heathered Wild Indigo not Heathered Plumful. I love that one too.

    3. Heathered Plumful and Velvet Dust are the same tone so I don’t need both. :). Definitely get the vest in Wild Indigo. The color is really pretty and you will love it. ;)

  3. I LOVE that crossover sweater!! It's perfect on you and will get a lot of use for fall and winter! :D I love the sleeves, the cut and the color of it. I'm not a hot pink person. I got Dark Prism Pink HH two years ago and love it but that's enough for me. :P

    1. Hi Janessa! I like pink but I can't do hot pink either. Maybe in something small like an accessory. =D

Thanks! I really do love the sweater!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
