Lots of Pitch Blue and purples this week! Not complaining, I am loving Dramatic Magenta. My picks from this week are Classic Fit Cotton Blend T-Shirt Purple Ash, Scuba Oversized Funnel-Neck 1/2 Zip Dramatic Magenta, and Ribbed Softstreme MR Wide Leg Cropped Pant 25" Black.
In other news I just got back from my follow up appointment with my doctor and I am cleared to start adding light resistance bands and weights to my routine! No more PT! I can't tell you how happy I am that I no longer have to go to PT and that I can finally do a military press again! 😅 I can't believe how excited I was when I did my first one after 9 months. I was using 5 lb dumbbells but I didn't care. My form was good and I didn't have any pain, so it's a start.

That's great news you can start training again, Leslie! I know how mentally tough it is to recover from injury and not work out the way you want. I didn't wait and kept re-injuring myself over and over again for a couple of years. I still can't lift heavy like I used to, but I've found other workouts that I enjoy just as much - the newest is Lagree!

Hi LZ! I'm hoping I can get back to lifting what I used to before my injury, but I'm not the best at being patient, so it is really hard. I have to just make sure I don't overdo it with the lifting above the shoulders. I never heard of Lagree and looked it up, the machine looks huge! Do you go to classes?

Yes, I go to classes - and they are always so challenging! I didn’t have much interest in regular pilates before, because I thought it would be too easy. The megaformer machine really beefs it up! I highly recommend if you want to improve core strength. There’s a lot of plank-type movements.

ReplyDeleteI too am interested in the Ribbed Softstreme Wide Leg Pants, but that price tag will stop me from trying them. I'm kind of liking the Double Strap Yoga Tank as well. I'd really like to get something in Purple Ash and Dramatic Magenta. I love all these purples!

ReplyDeleteDramatic magenta has caught my eye too. None of the current pieces interest me. :( The align wrap-waist looks odd to me. Almost like the top of the pants unraveled mid workout and the person had to improvise.
I'm loving petrol purple and the heathered petrol tops look pretty. I have one sitting in my cart. I may order or wait to see them in store. Not sure yet.

Like you, I'm a sucker for purple and I can see myself in big troubles LOL.
I've been eyeing the Softstreme Cinch-Waist Jacket and reviews are positive. I have too many grey jackets and White Opal will get dirty in no time. If LLL releases this jacket in a nice purple, I'll definitely give it a try.
