Fit Review Friday! Athleta Store Try-Ons Good Days Pant, Brooklyn Bomber Jacket, Breezy Ruched Tank Plus End of Summer Sale!

Happy Friday and just like that it's September! Tons of Labor Day sales happening right now. Athleta dropped their end of summer sale, with lots of items under $50Allbirds Labor Day Sale is still happening! Get a free pair of socks when you use my link

Today's review is a store try-on at Athleta. For reference I'm typically size PXS in Athleta tops and bottoms. I also wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.

I haven't tried on a pair of Athleta Girl pants in a while. I'm wearing size Large/12 and the length of these are perfect. However, my hips are just a tad too big and they make the pockets flare out. Size Large/12 is too small for my 34 inch hips. The fabric is light-weight and super comfortable though. The waist was stretchy and forgiving. For $59, this is a nice find for petites!

Next up we have the Brooklyn Bomber Jacket in Black. I'm wearing size XS and would have preferred this in petite sizing. The length is just a tad too long for a bomber jacket. The sleeves aren't horrible, but still a bit too long as well. Athleta does offer this jacket in petite sizing, but at the time of this post my size is sold out.

This is a light-weight jacket that would be perfect for fall and spring. It's super comfortable and I love that it is wrinkle free and water repellant. I'll have to keep an eye out for a restock.

I forget how difficult it is to try and take flattering photos in the fitting room. 😆 But this tank is so cute and comfy, these photos do not do it justice at all! I'm wearing size XS and I love the slouchy fit. The fabric is thin, it feels like a linen-blend and so perfect for the hot summer we've been having. It is a bit see-through though. I do think it's over priced at $49 dollars. I am going to try and purchase when there's a coupon or sale. I also want it in black too.

That's it for me! Hope you all have a lovely Labor Day Weekend! It's the last bit of summer. Enjoy yourselves!

  1. You read my mind! I was just searching through your blog for Athleta Girl pants for sizing. So size 14 might work for me if size 12 is a bit tight around your hips. Thanks and keep up the good work!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
